I read a lot of the reviews before buying this product, as I usually do, but it delivered exactly what it promised. I had a DVD with RCA connectors that I needed to connect to a new Samsung 60" flat screen that only had HDMI connectors. ins. The connections were made in less than 10 minutes, and it performed exactly as I had expected. The small unit could be powered directly from the router box's USB port.

This product allowed me to connect my IPOD classic (yes, I still have one!) to my computer. ) to my TV via HDMI port 2 with all of my music. I was able to connect my Bose sound bar to this device and listen to music. Setup is a breeze. Because the IPOD classic lacks Bluetooth, this was the only viable option. Because my IPOD does not support it, there is no album cover display on my TV, which I knew going in. However, I am able to obtain my music, and it is of good quality. The power connection is loose and frequently needs to be "jiggled" to restore power, which is a bummer for me. This is a colossal letdown. It detracts from my enjoyment of the utility of this simple device. If it weren't for this flaw, I would give it a higher rating.

This is by far the flimsiest, most poorly constructed product I've ever purchased. The analog jacks are so small that they act as pivots for a good monster cable. I was only using it for video, so I can't comment on the audio jacks, but I had to prop the unit up at an exact angle and then pull the analog cable to the side to get the signal to pass. br>The audio was routed through my theater system and lasted about a quarter of an hour. 1/2 second before the video starts. This wouldn't be a problem if I routed all of the signals through this technological speedbump, but I wasn't about to waste any more time rerouting my cables only to discover that the other analog input jacks are also a joke. br>I'm guessing their quality control starts here, based on the reviews' extremes. Buy at your own risk; order two if you're in a hurry and want to take a chance; otherwise, your time is valuable enough that you should look for something else; I'm going to Newegg in the hopes of getting better results on this seemingly simple tech hack.

This product has enabled me to watch the last of my VHS tapes. It performs admirably and is ideal for home movies and black-and-white films. With copy-protected tapes, however, it has a hard time. It will either leave a streak of green or red on top of the screen or cause the image to warble in the upper right corner. This is a minor annoyance for me, but it could be significant for others. Expect no miracles because it will not improve the quality of the tape.

I purchased two of these after the first one failed to work due to the frost. Then it started working out of nowhere after 30 minutes, then stopped working when we heard a popping noise. The second one never worked at all; it became extremely hot and did nothing. I even wondered if it was my own? So I said ehh, went to Bestbuy, and bought a more expensive device from a different brand, and it works perfectly.

There will be no issues. It's fantastic! I was overjoyed when I finally got my old VCR to work. I hadn't seen the VHS tapes in years and had tried several methods to connect the player with no success until I purchased this fantastic little device! It's simple to set up and use, and the picture quality is likely to be comparable to that of the 1980s.

Converts an RCA signal to an HDMI signal. It only works in one direction, so keep that in mind. You'll need a different device to convert from HDMI to RCA; I'm using it to re-encode my DVDs. My 25-year-old camcorder has been converted into a camera that can be used with my computer monitor. (You can record the screen image to a disk drive, USB flash drive, or hard drive if you have the right software. ) I'm very happy with the device and the seller.

There is a build that is either too short or of poor quality. Although the product appears to work, it frequently stops working or causes the smart television to switch from broadcast to gaming mode. Also, the picture quality changes at random, switching from good to bad to lines, fuzz, and poor. When you touch or move the converter, it stops working or does the things listed above. I'm no longer covered by the manufacturer's warranty, so I'm stuck.
