Questions & Answers

Is the Wild Game Innovations logo emblazoned on all of the photos?

I have a 12 megapixel camera that I purchased last year but have yet to use. Over 30k photos have not been harmed by water. I'm in love with it so much that I'm only going to buy these. There isn't a better camera available for the price. This isn't something I was paid to say! I own both one of these and a Tasco, and it outperforms the Tasco in every way. Everything, including photo quality and battery life. In addition, I discovered that my Tasco will photograph nothing. My invention will occasionally photograph moving weeds. Isn't it, however, supposed to detect movement?

Is each frame marked with a tine/date stamp?

Yes, it is.

Is there a strap or do you have to use the flimsy bungie cords that come with it?

It is equipped with bungee cords.

Is there a way to connect it to the internet?

This is not the case.

There are a slew of reasons why this isn't working
3/5

There's no way of knowing which end is upbr>2. The menu is completely useless, and there aren't many options to begin with,br>3. The "instructions" are more like a table of contents without the contents, rather than actual instructions on how to use the device. For example, there are no instructions on how to set it up for use in the "manual. "
4. After I finally figured out how to use it, it took about 30 minutes to take all of the available photos (I had a 32GB flash card in it).
5. There will be no pictures taken at night. Ever. Not a single one. br>br>I was trying to use this in the wetlands behind my house because something very large was making a lot of noise and fighting with other smaller critters. There is a beaver out there, but it sounds like bigfoot snapping twigs and leaping into the water at times. I was unable to obtain any photos from this device that were useful in any way. I would not purchase this item again. br>br>.

UPDATE on a one-year review Review of the Past Year: The camera had broken down
3/5

I went to replace the SD card and batteries, as I do every few months, because I was using it to monitor activity at a farm we own and it wouldn't turn back on. My other Wlidgame cameras are fine; the only problem is that it was exactly one month after the warranty had expired, and Wildgame Innovations had not responded to my request for assistance. I made the mistake of purchasing a TOGUARD on Amazon, which was garbage but received positive reviews for some reason. I've had a Wildgame innovations camera for a few years and have had no problems with it, so I bought two after making a mistake with the other cameras. They both work perfectly and look great so far, but I added some artistic touches to help them blend in better. I like simple, so there aren't many bells and whistles. UPDATE: We got some great video footage of a trespasser carrying a pistol late at night after a week of use. Evidence piqued the cop's interest.

For the money, this is the best little camera you can get
5/5

I doubt you'll be able to find a better game camera for less than $40. I bought three of them and put them out in June of this year, and they're still going strong as of August 9th, after taking hundreds of photos of wildlife on our property. Clear images, easily triggered, and quickly recycled at any time of day or night I've included a couple of the shots that were taken. In the middle of the night, I caught foxes running by camera and got some decent shots. Raccoons are easily identifiable in photos taken at night. Because the cameras are small, it's important to keep track of where you put them or you'll have trouble finding them. I can't think of a better value for money than this. br>br>I can't think of a better value for money than this. I've had ones that were three times the price and produced blurry photos or no photos of the animal due to a slow trigger. br>br>Select a few of these and you will not be disappointed. Only caveat: make sure the sensors are clear of nearby rustling foliage, or you'll end up with a lot of leaf photos. A motion detector that is extremely sensitive. If you're within a few inches of the sensors, it won't be triggered by foliage. br>br>These are fantastic little game cameras.

Great value for money, and comparable to some higher-end cameras
5/5

I own nine of them, and they are unbeatable in terms of price and quality. For 4. A three-year protection plan is available for 99 dollars. So for less than $40, you get a camera with a 3-year warranty, including 3 years outside in the elements for electronics. I had one leak, so I now use a small bead of silicone to seal the seams, but I still give them five stars.

A good trail camera that is both durable and affordable
4/5

For the money, this is a fantastic trail camera. I've been using it for more than a year and it provides me with a lot of what I want without breaking the bank. Highlights include: br>br> br>Cost, Battery Life, Durability, Ease of Use, Reasonable Trigger Speed, Good Pictures, and 1080p Video Good nighttime performancebr>br>Cons: br>br>Overall, a good value for your money. br>br>Could have better picture and video quality,br>br>Overall, a good value for your money. If it's stolen, I'm not too concerned. It has outlasted cameras that cost twice as much.

images of high quality The only disadvantage for me is that the unit lacks a plug, preventing me from using external power
3/5

My cameras are mostly (if not all) in the Big Bend area of Texas (about 450 miles from here), and the external battery with solar charger that I use with others is fantastic. However, I disassembled the camera and connected two wires to one side (the camera is actually two separate 6 volt sections, so it's a 6-volt camera). drill a small hole in the bottom of the case with a 2-volt camera) and use a 2-volt camera) MAKE IT A POWER UNIT WITHOUT THE PRONG CONNECTOR. This is something that almost everyone else has. They are, however, a good buy, so I make some changes to mine.

For the price, it's a good deal
4/5

It is capable of taking photos at any time of day or night. It has a lot of random pictures of nothing, which makes no sense unless a bird flew in front of the camera before it could take the picture. Because there should be no branches flapping in the breeze in front of it. I had about 50 elk on my property and it missed getting even one picture, but it will catch a picture of someone approaching my driveway from the same direction.

For the price, it's hard to beat, and it's a good, solid camera
5/5

It's $40, and it's a good camera for the money; in fact, I got some for $34 four times this year, for a total of seven cameras. Trigger could be better; it missed a couple of critters (2 bears) standing in front of it for 15 seconds, but overall, they're a good deal for my needs. It's simple to set up and there aren't many options to fiddle with, which I like. Life appears to be going well for Batter. It takes a lot of AA batteries and can use both lithium and alkaline batteries, and it seems to last a long time; I'll probably buy a few more.
