It's a plug that can be used in any country. fits in with the rest of my cams Camouflage Cam Moultree. I was fed up with having to replace batteries. The best option is to use 12 volts.

My SP cameras have been giving me a lot of grief

I'm a huge fan of the authentic. Photos of the Spypoint Link Micro taken over time. This camera is very nice when it works. br>br>However, I'm having trouble getting it to work with this cable and a 12v battery. I know I have a good battery and internet connection, but the phone app says it's still using AA batteries. I also despise the fact that AA batteries must be present in the camera and must be fully charged. THEN WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE 12V? I should be able to use 12v without the need for an AA battery in the camera. Perhaps I'm overlooking something. br>br>Perhaps I'm overlooking something. I'm hoping I am, and that someone will respond with "have you tried [such-and-such]?" [such a simple matter]? My camera will be more reliable, but I'll feel stupid. Apart from that, br>br> and, unrelated to the product itself-- I'd like to be able to take video instead of just photos, and I'd like to be able to take a photo or video in real time from a distance. time (hopefully, SpyPoint is reading this and will incorporate this into a product in the near future).

This is an excellent product for field spy point cameras

I've had one unit in the field for a year and it's still working fine. I would recommend using dielectric grease on the two amp fuse in the fuse holder to prevent corrosion.

The spy point cell trail camera was exactly what I needed

I'm going to set up a trail camera in a location where I won't be able to see it for three months. This was purchased in order to connect to a 12 volt Marrine battery. Now I can keep an eye on the camp, which is several hours away. It's easy to set up at home before heading north, and it works perfectly.
