The SimpliSafe system uses a different method for wireless communication than other sensors, so it is not compatible with sensors from different companies.

There is no alternative the SimpliSafe hub is necessary. In addition to the proprietary radio frequency links used by SimpliSafe devices to communicate with the base station (hub), Echo does not support these radio frequency links (even the fourth To turn the system on or off, Echo devices can be used.

Is there a reason why brand new motion sensors do not respond if I walk right in front of them?

I hate you awfully. I'm very disappointed in the motion detectors on this system, they don't even work. It has already gotten back to me twice. At the time of this writing, my system is armed, and a motion detector is 15 feet away. There was a finger pointing at me from Far Away. It doesn't react when I get up or go into the kitchen and do jumping jacks in front of it. I rely on the contacts for the windows and doors since they seem to work. Despite the motion detectors being so useless, I cannot believe that they exist at all. There is no way I can comprehend how highly rated they are. I've got money around my waist.

It is easy to initiate monitoring and set up

I recently installed an additional motion detector in my daughter's SimpliSafe alarm system, and she was able to add it without breaking a nail. The process of adding the motion detector was seamless and easy to complete. She and my Granddaughter are well protected when away from home or at home, and my Dad has a sense of peace of mind knowing that they are being watched over every minute. You can select from a variety of different settings when you install the SimpliSafe app on your phone for each of the different sensors that you can choose from. I have the security system protecting not only my family homes but also two historical buildings and a museum. The system is excellent.

The customer service is excellent. The installation process is easy. The program can be easily used. In the evenings, I have a hard time sleeping! We are afraid that someone will break into our home with small children. As a result, I sleep better and feel more relaxed.

SimpliSafe direct provided faster and free delivery over this motion sensor. It was easy to install onto an existing second-generator SimpliSafe system from the box while using the same keypad that was installed on the first generator. In addition to instructions, if necessary, these were also included.
