In a nutshell, I really wasn't looking to lock the door, but rather to make him learn the lesson that he needs to ask us about his wants and needs. It isn't that I am afraid of him or anything, but I wanted him to learn that he must communicate his needs to us. I was able to solve the problem this way. There is a 2 year old boy in my family. I was in my bed with my son when I fell asleep a few days ago. Currently, it is nine o'clock in the morning, and Hubby has already left for work.
