I have two of them in my house, one in the bathroom so I can see the weather as I get ready in the morning. My two screens are exactly the same as those in the picture. The one I bought from Acurite is an extra. In addition, the Weather Sensor started working properly in January, then failed 15 months later because of a malfunctioning temperature sensor. Having to buy a new complete weather sensor was necessary since it could not be replaced. Despite numerous attempts to repair it, the second temperature gauge failed in just over a year, and the wind direction "rudder" frozen up and cannot Acurite told me that it would be no problem even though I live on the coast. As far as I can tell, their weather sensors are inferior. I will be using Davis Instruments or Ambient Weather products from now on. The quality is much better and the price is worth it.
It had to be replaced. It worked as intended and lasted two years without a problem, but I had to replace it because it didn't work anymore. Having used Accurite systems for about five years, I can vouch for the quality of the products. As long as the Five in One does not work, there will be no problems. The problem is not that big. Added this one to my order. drink a full-strength single for a day or two, then nothing for a week or so. The process had to be started all over again. Simply unplug it and you will be back to single status. It is extremely difficult to get Accurite to support you. No one is even available to talk to. The only means of communication is via chat.
