It comes with a battery pack that can be plugged into the front keypad to power it and enter the codes/fingerprints. It also has keys that can be used to bypass the electronic keypad.
It's not advertised as such, and I wouldn't trust it if it was, but it's a great safe for storage and access. Mine is one of my favorites.
A shelf was missing from my safe. It would have been great if it did.
Not at the very bottom. You can use two of the holes on the back wall. I chose to work with heavy-duty materials. anchors for heavy-duty walls One of the holes was screwed to a stud when it was moved.

Easy to set up, with my fingers and my wife's already programmed in, as well as a passcode and two backup keys. There are two holes in the back for secure mounting. Hardware is included. The construction is spacious and sturdy. I like it so much that I'm thinking about getting another one.
This safe appeals to me a lot. The finger print reader has performed admirably, and I appreciate the fact that there is a code and key backup. When a code or fingerprint was mis-read, I knew the item had an alarm. I had entered too many times, but I had no idea there was also a motion detector. Initially, I had the safe on the floor, and our robotic vacuum repeatedly hit it, setting off the alarm. When I picked it up again without disarming it, it did the same thing. This is a nice added bonus.
Overall, a great safe that arrived on time and in the condition described in the photos. The "intact" key cover is of poor quality; I wish it were of higher quality, but this isn't a big deal. Inside, there's just a loose piece of fabric padding on the bottom of the safe, and looking inside, you can see where it was welded together, so it's not particularly nice, but overall, it's pretty decent quality for the price. The fingerprint scanner is quick and accurate, and it can add multiple fingerprints. So far, I've added four (apparently without limit?). The instructions for deleting a fingerprint don't work, at least not for me; in order to erase an old fingerprint, I had to do a full factory reset and start over. Other than that, everything appears to be in working order. The touchscreen dial is of good quality and provides a pleasant experience when opening the safe. My inside door frame had a small paint chip, and the "intact" key cover had been scratched, but these were minor details. Overall, the quality is a nine out of ten, and I would strongly suggest it.
I've programmed my fingerprint a number of times, but it still doesn't work when I try to use it. It appears that you program it one day, but it either forgets or something changes the next day. I have another safe from a different manufacturer that works flawlessly every time; I've even programmed several different fingers on the sensor, but it doesn't recognize any of them. Entering the master pass code is the only way I can open the safe. Useless!.
There's enough space for a couple of pistols and ammunition.
