I did six fingerprints, but it may be able to handle more.

With a good print reader and a solid metal design, you can't go wrong

This metal object appears to be solid and well-made. I have both the type a and type c versions; the type c works fine but is made of a plastic composite; I would have just bought two type a USBs because adapters for them are much easier to come by if you want to use it on an iPhone or a type C Android. Setting it up was a breeze. However, it is also simple for someone to reset.
