It took me a while to figure out how to import playlists from iTunes onto this Walkman, but I did it! It was noted that people complained that Playlists from iTunes could not be transferred to the As well as you, I refused to give up when I faced the same problem

It took me a long time and many trial and error attempts to figure it out. When you do it the first time, it's a little annoying, but after that it's pretty easy. Creating a playlist from scratch is much better than recreating your entire library. Users of Microsoft's Windows operating system should note the following *BR>*BR>1) Open iTunes and highlight the Playlist that you wish to move. Select the name of the Playlist that you want to move but don't open it. **2) Select FILE, LIBRARY, EXPORT PLAYLIST from the drop-down menu. When this point has been reached, Windows Explorer will appear. It is recommended that you save the Playlist onto your hard drive. You will be able to rename your Playlist This is important The file should be saved with either an or Please note that this is a format except M3U. A music file with an . mpu8 Under "Save as type" just below the file name, you can see a dropdown list that will help you choose the correct extension. Note the playing folder. 4) Copy the Playlist into that folder. Now that I am familiar with where they are on my hard drive, I created a folder for them.

Now open Sony Music Center (download the program Here is the program that is used by the Walkman. This is what the Music Center has to say 5) Click on FILE which is under the 3 horizontal lines at the upper left hand corner of the 6) Clicking the IMPORT PLAYLIST option will open Windows Explorer. 7) It will open Windows Music. You need to locate the Playlist you want to upload ** 8) Click the IMPORT button. Thank you. I hope you find this useful!.

It is obvious that the quality has dropped
3/5

Keep your money in the bank. There are hardly any positive things to say about the new Sony NW E series. In addition, I purchased this to replace my NWZ S544 model in which I found it to be fantastic. As a result of the release of this new model, Sony is clearly looking A total of 74 was paid. It will only cost 99 (like I paid for my previous Sony) and have fewer Despite the fact that Sony is known for producing high quality MP3 players, I chose to remain with Sony rather than buy an IPOD. Compared to the old one, this new one is completely inadequate. Sound is terrible until you turn the bass boost off. You are not able to adjust anything until that is done. A few of the clear audio technologies have been dropped. I have no idea what's wrong with it. The color display looks cheap and old, and it sounds terrible with headphones, terrible when I hook it up, really It might be worth it for me to spend more money on another Sony product that I cannot get at retail stores, or to buy an iPOD instead. It's time for you to get your act together, It was a missed opportunity for you guys. The product will be returned to me for a refund!.

The device does not allow you to transfer playlists from your computer to this one
3/5

If you have previous playlists on your computer, you cannot transfer them to this one. There's no doubt that this is a good book The fact is, this is a well-known problem. I looked across the web and many people reached similar conclusions. It would be best to contact Sony directly so you can be assured that the same thing will be said. If you have iTunes, don't bother, you need to use Windows Media Player for this (don't worry if you have older versions of WMP), but this device does not support the latest version. If you have an old computer with Windows XP or Vista laying around, you might be able to get it to run. Otherwise you have to go song by song on the device itself and create the playlist (which is difficult since the device is not very user friendly), which could take hours, and if your device stops working you may not be able to retrieve your playlist. As a result I am returning my device. In short, there are other mp3 players for less than half the price that allow you to transfer playlists, but make sure you read the reviews and FAQs first. You can find out what others think of it and if there is anything you can do to make it work in a section for that. Finding one is still on my to-do list. Sony products will not be used any longer unless the problem is fixed. Congratulations. I wish you all the best.

I'm outraged by Sony's actions! I can say this with all sincerity
3/5

A rating of five stars would be more appropriate for this MP3 player. It is because I am having difficulty with the programming portion of this unit that I have given it a low ranking. I had no idea at the time that I ordered it that it came with it. You will be required to use an old version of Windows Media Player (version 11) in order to use this Sony. Version 12 is what most people use, as well as me. This version of the program does not permit the creation of playlists. It was a pleasure talking with a technician from Sony and another support representative. It has now been decided that I will have to dig out my old computer from storage to create a playlist on the MP3 player. The red color and the ease of use are also great, and I love the red color! Although I would have liked to rate this higher, the hassle alone, as well as asking why Sony would sell something with such a dated program, prompted me to give it a low rating.

I was a little disappointed
3/5

initial impression of this player is one of have to confess that I had a Zune as my previous player, and I now feel that it was truly a premium product and I may have lost faith in all future MP3 players. Sony was my first choice to find a quality replacement and I felt that I couldn't go wrong with this, however to be honest, it seems like a cheap $20 mp3 player. My first impressions are as follows This includes 1. There is a feeling of cheap plastic here. In general, the build quality of the Zune 8G is excellent and feels smooth. 3.
It lacks a USB C port and uses a micro USB connector, which is cumbersome. 1. 2. 3. It is difficult to navigate the menu as I would have liked. The fourth point. The quality of the sound is good*5. It is hard on the ears to wear earphones that don't have any These earphones will not be enjoyable to listen to for long periods of time. As part of my next update, I will discuss battery life, usability, and any other positives or negatives that are found.
