It is true. It is for six foot antennas that I purchased them. I was very satisfied with how it worked.
A 102-inch whip attached to a fire stick antenna and a spring are why I am using them. Whether or not it can be hooked up to a Wilson 1000 is not known to me. Wilsons have magnet mounts and my Wilson has one. It's okay with me if I don't give you any wrong advice.
While I am not familiar with the size of the antenna, it has the standard threads that are compatible with any CB antenna on top and bottom. The size is the same.

You can see the video here. In a nutshell, Unlike a stiff spring, this is not a flexible Perhaps it would be OK on the 2 meter band if used as just a whip. But it isn't "Heavy duty". The video below shows 50 mph in slow motion. Even so, it does have a copper wire inside. The stud supplied with it is too.
It is imperative that as much as possible of the center feed is shielded to prevent burning up your big burner or radio. It might help! I'm on my way, 73s click click.
The spring is a little soft compared to two other springs that a friend of mine has, however I find it to be perfectly suitable for my needs. Neither it swings nor wobbles in an excessive manner. I find that when it swings while I am driving, it calms down pretty quickly. Owners of Jeep TJs need to be aware of the following warning There is an antenna mount behind the taillight that places the antenna directly next to the light. I know my friend has the mount. The mount of the wide center of this spring was too close to the side of his TJ since the center of the spring is too wide. In order to make the straight springs work, he had to buy one. (This is just something to think about. Here are the words I hope will help).
I didn't find these springs as heavy duty as they were An antenna made of 36" fiberglass was mounted on a mount on the side of my rig. Soon after I crossed the 45 mph mark, my antenna began to fold down in the wind and swing As a result, the spring area around it was scratched to hell and a set of pliers was needed to remove it. In this case, I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with my purchase.
seems to be of decent quality with a good finish in chrome. There are several reasons for this, including thread machining that is very sloppy, causing attachments to be very tenuous. Sadly, the threads are just just too big to allow for an accurate attachment, so I think that tightening just a hair too much will detach the threads. It wouldn't be worth it to buy it.
A spring is here. I won't add much more to this. Please let me know if you have any questions. This spring does contain a wire from top to bottom in the center of the spring for a completely smooth and It's true not all buildings are as good as they once were. The springs and the cb equipment back in the day were much better built.
The program does exactly what it is supposed to do. The spring on my 102whip ripped when it got stuck in a tree, which caused the whip to become stuck in the tree. Aimed at saving the antenna and base, however.
I don't know.
