The antenna is good for short distances

I tested it on my Motorola APX4000 radio, and it worked perfectly. It's always good to have a long antenna in my gear bag, just in case, as you might hit a dead zone, and the last thing a cop wants is to lose radio contact. I gave one to my partner and my wife. Now we can wear our Tac vests with our radios on it without having to pull the longer antenna out of our faces.

Antenna works great for GPS

We use long GPS antennas to work with radios in a prison where I work. My radio has a long antenna and I wanted to clip the antenna to my belt so that it wouldn't stick out too I really like these and they are working out exactly how I wanted them to.
