The antenna is also the same as the mounting bracket for a cb
Manufacturer should be able to answer better, I used my own as it worked very well for me, if someone is just looking for heavy springs, check with Harley Davidson for springer springs (NOTHREAD) instead.

There was too much flex in that spring, I thought. My antenna kept banging against the side of the cab at about 50 mph when I put it on a 2019 Freightliner day cab.
If you have an antenna greater than 3, though, you won't be able to use this product. On the highway, 5 feet is going to bend a lot and cause everyone around you to seem like they are in chaos. The antenna would work fine if it were smaller. I don't think it's a 5 foot.
The 2 foot fiberglass antenna I already had on my car was a bit short so I bought a little longer one. On the top of my roof was a spring that I used for my two dogs An antenna on a 3-foot pole proved too flexible This antenna is about a foot in length. It fixed the problem after I ordered this one. Only when it comes into contact with something does it bend down.
It is wonderful to have an antenna spring like this. The quality is really good and it functions well. However, it rusts after a few rainy days so you might want to paint the spring or look for a different model.
My spring has never given me any problems, not even rust, while it's mounted on my car and being left in the rain all day. I'm glad to have such a beautiful spring.
It is the third time I have bought them. In this year's spring, the weather is very nice. A bump doesn't mean the recoil has to be bad. This is a good method for getting a decent SWR. I thought it was quite good.
Product looks as good as galvanized steel, the spring appears to be made of stainless.
