Questions & Answers

This product can be used with dual band VHF/UHF radios? Ir (136-198 I have 174/400. ?

This is not something I'd do. Antennas such as this are made for 11GHz systems CB Bands (26-70 meter It is 27MHz). You will not be able to damage the antenna by using it for UHF/VHF, but you could potentially hurt your radio because the SWR will be You will also lose a lot of transmit power as a result. My radio for UHF and VHF is a Browning BR-300 I use a 180 on my truck, and I'm very pleased with it.

This seems to be an FSA issue How can I use my 4bk fire stick with my 520xl Uniden How does it attach to my magnetic mount and can it be screwed on?

I have no doubt that it will work with a Uniden You must first determine whether the magnetic mount will screw onto yours, as there are different types of mounting bases. As long as I am not sure what kind of base you have, I cannot say whether this will fit or not. A 3/8" male thread is on the base of the antenna. It is worth noting that this is a very heavy antenna, and it should be mounted on a very sturdy magnetic base, preferably a triple-magnetic one

GMRRS radios are allowed to use this unit?

GMRS will not be able to use this antenna. For CB frequencies, which range from 27 to 32 MHz, use the chart below. 462 MHz is the frequency of GMRS

Would the Midland be able to handle this?

Any device that relies on an antenna to receive a signal will work with this awesome tunable tip 900W antenna. Make use of the radio waves and hook it up to it.

It is easy to install and My truck has a tailgate gap and I used a firestik ss204 mount to install it
5/5

Quite a few tunes were possible. I've managed to tune about a 1 in it. You can obtain 2 SWR with a very minimal amount of.

That couldn't be further from the truth! Specifically, I bought this antenna to be tuned to the 10 meter The 300 to 29 range
3/5

A 700-MHz frequency). This is what happened when I attached it to my FT-100 Then I tuned my 857D and it sounded like my tuner hit a button and typed a stinking term paper. I'm going to tell you what the problem is. CB frequencies live in the 26meter band (11. The figure for 965 is Once I began diving into the ham radio HF side of things and purchased a RigExpert Antenna Analyzer, I found that this antenna resonated roughly around 26 MHz. A 300MHz frequency. antenna's "tuning" feature is counterproductive (because when you turn the tuning screw, the antenna gets longer and tunes The antenna needs to be tuned to around 29 in order to fix this problem. Once you lengthen the tuning screw you will be able to tune it for both 10 Meter and CB bands. With all that being said, I cut about eight inches of the plastic coating off of the antenna, and cut the wrapped wire to make it resonate as I analyzed it. Using the picture I posted, you can see how much wire had to be removed in order to get the CB band working, then the tuning was done to 28 dB. The covered wire was covered with electrical tape. After ordering the Hamstick, it was ready to use. I'm planning to tune this antenna back into the CB band and use it there if I need to use my CB again.

NOT WORK ON THE ALUMINUM BODY OF A TRUCK
3/5

A 2018 F150, for example, is made of aluminum and will not work with the firestik. The manufacturer in Arizona advised me that the aluminum body does not have a ground plane and we have dealt with this issue. It's only natural. I could not find this information on the packaging so why don't you put it on it so my problem and others' aren't repeated. It does not require any ground plane, according to my source. There is no doubt in my mind that I will go and purchase one immediately. Not at all!.

It was too high for me to get into and out of the garage when I used the top right bracket. [Pictured] is what brackets look like at the bottom left. As of now, I have not run into any problems.

CB antenna that is the best I have ever owned
5/5

My 5th CB antenna that I have owned and it is I was able to get a great range on my Jeep, yet my spare tire blocked half of the path. If you own a Jeep, this is by far the best. It's safe to say that I've used all of them. If you buy this, you'll never regret it. Get an SWR meter and cable from Amazon and you should be good to go. You've got good stuff there. I will buy again without a doubt.

It was great to see you perform
5/5

A bunch of cheaper antennas with a short range (*1 mile) almost convinced me to give up on CB. By utilizing this Firestik you will be able to double or triple the range A pair of Bearcat 980s is used to cover 6 miles through relatively difficult terrain. Tuning the tip to get below 1 does require the full length (full length) of the knife. I could have adjusted slightly more for item 2 and perhaps wish there had been more adjustment room. You should use a sturdy metal ground plane, and you should tune your car outside in order to ensure.

Pay attention to the red end of the plastic! The app has been installed
4/5

The red cap was removed, and the screw was adjusted without the cap. The following two are related to the second The band as a whole has 3 points. After I attached the red end to the red plastic, I It appears that the swr readings are The following four sets of numbers are correct So I re-ran the test with the entire band at 6 higher. The entire process was done, including adjusting, and the cap was reinstalled. Reduced it to 1 from the original 2. The following two are related to the second A 3 across the entire band.
Wow! That is pretty amazing! If you lose the cap, you need to reinstall it I want to see your antenna! I have attached a side note, for your information With a Cobra WRS75 antenna on my Jeep, I use this antenna. The two Strykers I use are a President McKinley 1, and a Stryker A10 on my Dodge 3500. In all of the bands, there is zero.

Buy this to use with a Midland 1001LWX 40 Channel Mobile CB and don't accept anything less
5/5

The SS274A Adjustable Stainless Steel Hood of Firestik was used for the installation on the hood of a 2014 Outback. Installation of a truck channel antenna and a Firestik SS-750 The 3H Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Antenna Spring is the ultimate antenna spring. Despite not having been tuned, the setup has proven durable and works well.
