I think both of them are correct. 5 watts is the maximum power that the BaoFeng radio can produce. Using this antenna, you can reach a maximum power output of 10 Watts. You will still be able to transmit with your BaoFeng radio at 5 watts, but you would be able to use this antenna with any other radio that produced up to a 10 watt signal. If you use any higher frequency, the radio would burn out.
Could you use a whip for that? It's not really like that. Types other than those mentioned Yes, that's correct. Putting a Nelson Slim Jim up a tree 10' high will allow me to get a repeater on 8W 60 miles away with a 5-metre long wire -- it's my favorite I will come back when I get 9 more (that's perfect). It is possible to hit a repeater 30 miles away with the same results using this 771 whip. It is, however, harder to receive a signal that is higher up, since I live in Florida (less trees and buildings getting in the way). An antenna that focuses signals in one direction is called a beam antenna. It is therefore true that the word "best" is more than up to the job. The antenna I have on my UV-tv is this one My 5RTP policy is to backpack or track if I'm not backpacking. I believe this is my favorite whip of all the ones I've tried. Get this one.
A length of an antenna can be expressed as follows *br>As stated by the manufacturer 2808 x frequency = length in inches In order to make it convenient to retract the antenna down to only 4 inches when you just receive and are not transmitting. The only frequency that has a SWR of 1 is the following There is a frequency of around 700 MHZ on 1. It can be increased up to about six inches if the length is increased. The Tx at which you could dial 3" would be I am only able to get 440 Mhz. I would recommend that you increase the length to 12 words. For 220 MHz, it needs a 7" display. To achieve 175 MHz, you need to go up all the way to 16". However, you are not going to get you under A SWR of 1 is required for 2M at 146 MHz. It requires that you reach a length of 19 before you can do it. 2" in length. This antenna does not work reliably for Ham radio TX, in all practical senses. MARS applications run on frequencies in the 150's Mhz range can also be used.
As I have received an antenna that is not retractable, the antenna I have is working extremely well. A non retractable chair is limber, it can stand straight up and down, but it isn't too stiff that it won't flex quite a bit as well. It is my opinion that any retractable antenna would diminish the value of an antenna such as this. I have a number of antennas for different uses, so if you need a short antenna, then buy one. Short antennae are cheap and will do the trick. While I'm working a festival and am close to a repeater, I run the rubber duck, but if I'm on the road or traveling and will be far from a repeater, I use Whenever I need this, this is my go-to.

I've been testing it on a Baofeng BF-16 and I got a very good SWR result. An 8 watt radio called the F8HP. A suburban neighborhood with a lot of clutter is not the best place to test a radio antenna, so I threw it on top of my Tacoma and did the test. It didn't like the bottom of the 70cm UHF band, as you can see from the photo, but it was at least at Readings were mostly below 1 in the majority of cases. There are many who consider reading 5 to be excellent. Although I accidentally set it off my garage without unscrewing it, it has not moved even when I hit 70 mph. Not surprisingly, no damage resulted from that.
In general, I tend to go all in on a hobby once I get into it. What started as a vague interest in FRS/GMRS walkie talkies evolved into the purchase of multiple BaoFeng VHF/UHF handheld two-way radios There is a BTECH AMP and two-way radios I had an Nagoya UT-400 at the time Antenna 308UV magnetic mount BF-308UV that connected to BF-308UV wireless remote control was pretty good when connected directly to it This is a two-in-one F8HP This one-way radio is an upgrade from the older one The super load coil is 72" in diameter Mounted on a magnetic base, this VHF/UHF antenna has a PL- connector The male connector on the 259 will mate with the AMP-type connector A U25's summary of its performance There is a female connector 239 on this Upgraded to a new computer was a fantastic experience! I was blown away by how much better quality, power handling, and most importantly SWR were. Over two hundred measurements were made with the UT308UV. There is a 5 SWR, which allows just under 15W of RF power to exit University of Texas-Austin Measured SWR has been reduced to 1 from 1. 2 using the 72 super loading coil antenna. With almost 20W, it delivers most of the Not only is this a considerable improvement in power delivery, but the amplifier is now safer as well. This university is located in Nagoya, Japan The super load coil is 72" in diameter VHF/UHF magnetic mount mobile antennas based on an inch are undoubtedly the best selection out there. This is a highly recommended read.
GMRS has been waiting for an antenna like this for a very long time. It is possible to radiate all of the signal in the clear with the Nagoya antenna There are no major cable losses apart from minor ones. It has become much easier to receive. A couple of these antennas and line of sight conditions allow you to make 60 - 80 percent of your connections There are 70 miles between the two cities. In spite of fast speeds, the magnet on the antenna base stays anchored to the roof of a vehicle. This rubber pad is covered by a roof, so there is no damage to the roof.
I love it. Using the cable, I can go from the back to the front of my mini van without adjusting anything. It is made from a very durable material, so even at 90 miles an hour I can cruise without it moving. There is no confusion at all in the reception. After installing it, it took me less than five minutes. I am so happy with this product that I can't even believe it.
The cable is long enough, the connectors are split, and the storing magnet is reasonable (although a little stronger would be nice), but the paint is not damaged. Currently not able to provide technical performance details other than to say that using a Baofung 5v, I was able to make contact with reasonable far distances.
The first thing to note is It was impossible to use the antenna coax with a PL- 259 connector The female connector on the SMA adapter is 259 Female. There was a little mess on the connection, whoever soldered it. The female end of the drill bit was cleaned with a #20 drill bit. All that was needed was a little bit of emery cloth on the male end. When two-meter SWRs are out of the box, they are There was a 1. 70CM SWR for 70CM. You can remove the antenna without scratching the paint because the magnet is strong, but not so strong that you have to worry about scratching it. The SMA adapter seems somewhat fragile, and I will tweak the SWR this weekend to try and make it more durable. It would be a good antenna to recommend to friends. According to the latest 9/21/2018 data, nothing has changed.
Compared to Diamond and Comet, this is a good price. I have two of them - one for indoor use inside my apartment and one for mobile use. In the past few months, I have bought several books.
The antenna on my POFENG BAOFENG BF-02X fit quite well, and I really like both its size and the way it looks. This machine has a handheld transmitter (HT) for the F8HP. I won't have to worry about it blowing off of my car as I drive down the road at 60 mph thanks to the strong magnetic mount. I like how the feed line was provided with plenty of extra space! Thanks for making this purchase, I am glad I did.
