Questions & Answers

I just got this adapter today, and it's making a rattling noise; do you have any suggestions for how to fix it? Camry 2000 is the model of car that I drive. ?

Hello Khiem, Please double-check that the mini-fridge is in good working order. - Your device's stereo plug is securely attached. Anthony

What is the length of the cord? Will my car's auto-start feature work? Will playing this backwards cause it to skip when it gets to the end of the tape?

The cord is about 4 feet long, which is probably more than you'll ever need, especially if you're using it in a car, where the extra cord gets in the way more than anything else. I've had no problems with the auto-repair system. Because you don't get to the end of the tape, it skips backwards, causing it to skip. I've been using it for over a year and have had no problems; it's the best I've ever used.

Is this something that would work on a Cavalier from 2002?

Yes, any car with a cassette player should be able to use this.

CPA- The Sleeper is a character from the series The Sleeper

The Best Cassette Adapter Available. Overview: br>The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a professional accountant who works in the public sector. Despite the fact that it is manufactured in China, the 9C demonstrates excellent engineering and craftsmanship. I can't say for sure how long the device will last [for the time being], but it appears to be quite durable when compared to other models in the same price range ($12-$15). 16). In terms of sound quality, this cassette is extremely sensitive to the amplification power of your audio device; lower-quality DACs will perform horribly with this cassette; however, even with a poor audio device, the sound quality transmitted through the cassette is consistent with the actual quality that the device is capable of producing. During operation, there is almost no hiss or cassette noise. The device's only flaw is that it transmits low-frequency signals poorly - They are almost completely absent from any audio device's playback. br>br>Control for Confounds (overkill for most people): br>I purchased a CPA-certified public accountant. 9C for a 1997 Lincoln Towncar (fleet edition), a 2009 Grand Marquis Ultimate Edition, and a 2010 Crown Victoria, all of which have a cassette player option in the radio. With the CPA-II, I used three different audio devices. 9C, in order of best playback: a 256 GB custom 5. All three devices lacked EQ: a 5th generation iPod Video (60GB model), an iPhone SE, and a 16GB 5th generation iPod Nano. I used three AIFF (actually fully lossless) music files. CD quality 100 % Back to Your Heart by Lindsey Webster, Unforgiven II by Metallica, and Strawberry Bubblegum by Justin Timberlake are among the songs on the list. br>br>As with a lot of 3. I cleaned each device of any lint or debris (as this affects sound quality in any listening medium) because 5mm female ports collect debris over time. This was done because I've had bad luck with Phillips and Belkin cassette adapters that use a 3. There is always an audible hissing noise when using a 5mm jack, which can be caused by a poor quality connection at the audio device. I noticed that many reviews didn't specify that this was taken into account, so I thought I'd mention it in my own. br>br> I used two different listening systems to make sure that the 3. Each device had a 5 mm port that was the same - in 5. a VSX90 AVR 1, as well as a UE Boom 2. Even though the same file was played on all three devices, it was clear which device had a better DAC when using the VSX90. The Actual Review: br>br> br>The CPA-II is installed in each vehicle. In comparison to other cassettes, such as Belkin, Phillips, and Sony, 9C performed exceptionally well. Monster. The radio volume in each car was set to 20 volume in each car was set to 20 volume in each car% The CPA-compliant system is installed in all automobiles. 9C performed consistently in all three temperatures (20, 45, and 75 degrees Fahrenheit). It took me a while to figure out the best volume setting for each device at first - Because each has a slightly different output current, the volume output to the cassette differed as well. I discovered that using a higher-quality DAC (the best being the custom iPod 5) improved the sound quality. 5th), the volume sensitivity was also higher. Even at full volume, the iPod nano had poor quality and low volume, whereas the iPod Video was perfectly satisfied at around 50-percent volume. 65% of full volume (in fact, audio clipping began to occur beyond 65% due to the signal being too strong for the cassette). At around 80%, the iPhone SE found its highest quality of sound and volume . br>br>Each file performed admirably, but the lower frequencies were noticeably lacking. This is something I can only confirm with the 09 10 cars, because each of them has a CD player (which is how I was able to compare the actual CD track to the same track on each audio device using the CPA-2000). 9C). I'm not convinced that this is the CPA's fault. 9C, however, due to the lossy nature of the tape medium - Unlike a CD, the sound is transmitted through mechanisms in the cassette and cassette player. There is no hissing, unlike the Phillips and Belkin, and the quality of the three is excellent. The Monster's 5 mm end is far superior to the Monster's. If you only have a cassette player in your car and want the best audio quality, I believe the CPA-100 is the way to go. The number 9C should be purchased. br>br>Finishing Thoughts: br>br> br>Based on my experience with these cassette adapters (the CPA-), I would recommend them. 9C, for example), I discovered that the DAC from the source audio device has a LARGE impact on the actual quality that can be transmitted through the cassette to the car stereo system. I knew it would make a difference, but I didn't realize how big of a difference it would make. If you decide to buy the CPA-Certificate, there are a few things to keep in mind The source device, not the car, the cassette player, the temperature, or even the file quality used for playback (of course, there will be differences between mp3 and AIFF/WAV), is the most important variable that will influence the sound quality. br>When it comes to cassette adapters, my best advice to customers is: The CPA- The 9C cassette adapter is the best available. If you want good sound but don't have a lot of money, look for a used 5th gen or 5. On Amazon, you can watch a video of the fifth-generation iPod. $60- When a good new radio from Sony or Pioneer costs $500-$700, 70 is a good investment. 750 You can simply load up your music (assuming you own it rather than using a streaming service) and go - There are no conditions. They are extremely dependable and are making an unexpected comeback in the market. Despite the introduction of the new iPhone X and other "super" devices, the value of all iPods is increasing. If you shop around on Amazon, you can find many sellers who can get you in for under $60. If you only want to use your smartphone for convenience, check your volume levels to make sure you're not clipping audio. I'd also recommend turning off the EQ on the source device so you can fine-tune the EQ in your car. You'll save time and effort for the cassette player, and the sound will be much cleaner and crisper. Finally, a cassette adapter will not be able to compete with a CD player. It all begins with your source audio device if you want the highest possible quality. the DAC's quality and amplifier's output power The mechanisms that govern how a cassette player works limit its capabilities - The Sony CPA, on the other hand, is a unique product. Your device will be transmitted as close to lossless as possible by 9C.

The sound quality is better than you might expect
5/5

Yes. It's 2016, and I've just bought one for my car. I want to listen to compressed audio in my car, but neither Bluetooth nor an aux jack are available. I also don't want to change my car's factory-installed audio system. Back in the early days of portable CD players, I had experience with both cassette adapters and FM transmitters. I don't recall "liking" either of them, but I do recall disliking the transmitter option in particular. Years later (decades later), I had a better understanding of how these adapters work and was reasonably confident that I could get acceptable sound quality from this format. I was correct, and I'm even a little pleased with myself. It all comes down to adjusting the output level of the portable device, which in my case was an older iPod touch. The EQ's shape must first be "flattened. " This will stop the portable device from artificially favoring certain frequencies over others. At a given volume level, the most overemphasized portions of the spectrum will distort first. The vehicle then amplifies the distortions, resulting in a cacophony of noise coming from your speakers. Step 2 is to find a maximum volume level without distortion in the portable device's output volume. If the volume is too low, the vehicle will have to do all of the amplification. This isn't ideal because there will always be some "tape hiss" from the cassette player. Any other noise or "hiss" will be found and amplified if the vehicle amplifier is turned up high enough to hear a "low volume" portable device. I find that with my iPod volume at somewhere in the neighborhood of 85% and the EQ turned OFF I have been the most successful with the EQ turned OFF I have been the%.

Sound quality is excellent

as well as the Auto THE PROBLEM WITH THE EJECT BUTTON HAS BEEN RESOLVED. This is one of the most cost-effective audio connectivity options. Forget about FM transmitters, which fluctuate in frequency or are hampered by a variety of interference sources. In this case, Sony reigns supreme. br>br>For those of you who are having eject issues that are driving you insane, one solution that others have found is to flip the cassette over and re-record it. it's inster it br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, I've discovered a more effective solution! Simply REMOVE THE TAPE. br>br> It pulls out with very little force and has no negative impact on either of my two units. br>br>In fact, now that the tape hiss is gone, I've noticed a significant improvement in sound quality. This is not a joke. br>br> Try this if you've given up on your cassette because of auto ejection problems.
