I'm not sure what I'm saying. My phone is an iPhone.
If it fits in the tape slot with the side (without the cable) slipping in, it should be fine. The cassette is positioned horizontally in most cars and opens from the side.
I used it with a fifth-generation iPod. This is a classic video game from the fifth generation. Should work with your iPhone 5 as well:
I believe the question was misunderstood here. The sound from any video you watch on your iPhone, iPad, Android, or other device will pass through this adapter, just like any other device that allows sound to pass through to headphones. The sound from a video does not transmit through an FM adapter, but video does.

I suppose you get what you pay for in this case. br>br>It's a little more expensive than the others, but it's the most effective, and I'd recommend it.
I couldn't hear a thing through my truck speakers, either. Though I left my previous RCA brand adapter in my previous truck when I sold it, it never failed like this, and I'm now questioning that decision. br>br>Was going to give 3 stars, but since this is the most expensive non-bluetooth adapter on Amazon and it's mediocre at best, I'm going to take a star away.
The reverb and bass are subpar. The piano keys are reminiscent of 808 bass kicks. I'm not an audiophile, but this is such a problem that I'm going to have to get a new cassette player. Listen to Schubert's Prelude in C minor or Rachmininoff's Prelude in C minor if you haven't already. My iPhone 5s allows me to listen to music at a higher quality. I'm surprised that there's such a large gap in the market for good cassette players. I regret throwing away my previous player, which only played one side of the car, because it makes a very loud winding noise when it's in the tape deck. Even so, it was better. This isn't the case, sir.
It's in a car stereo tape deck from 2002 that I'm using. It works, but the tape pops out a few times, and you have to push it back in a few times until it grasps it. That's why, I believe, the tape deck hasn't been used in a long time. I can't speak to the quality, but it works on my phone for both audio books and those online apps that have music you can play, the commercial-free kind (my wife's phone).
Despite being significantly more expensive than the other unit, the sound and fidelity of this unit is outstanding. I had previously ordered a lower-cost unit, but found the sound quality to be impossible for audiobooks on a long drive. It's now possible to listen to an audiobook while driving in a noisy convertible. br>We don't know how long it will last (yet). But I'll be content if it lasts a year.
This one left me feeling a little let down. The build quality is poor for the price. Perhaps I was given a bad one. However, there are a few exceptions. Finish the hiss with a very low volume of sound output. I turned up the volume on my car's amplifier. It sounded awful. I put my coworker to the test. It was a great sounding $9 Panasonic player. There isn't one. Perhaps I was given a bad one, but it was awful.
My parents bought a used car that didn't have bluetooth, so I bought this for them as an alternative. It was very simple to set up; simply plug it into your phone and insert the tape, and you're ready to go! The quality is excellent, it is simple to operate, and it performs flawlessly!.
