I have no issues using mine with a phone case. My phone case allows access to the headphone jack, so that shouldn't be an issue for you.
It works similarly to headphones in that you insert the tape and a headphone jack protrudes from one of the sides, which plugs into your phone's headphone jack or the hole where you put your headphones to listen to music. br>I hope this information is useful.
I'm hoping so, because I purchased it for my daughter, who owns an iPhone 5s. We haven't tested it yet because it's a Christmas present. I read the reviews and found that this one had the best ratings and seemed to be the most affordable. It should work with an iPhone, according to the description.

Why are these tape deck inputs so difficult to come by in good condition? I spent five dollars more on this one because I've wasted a lot of time on cheaper ones that don't last very long. br>br>Features to look for:
- excellent sound quality I wasn't looking for better sound in the first place, but after using this one, I realized how bad the other adapters were.
- The audio jack cord has a coiled shape to it. It may appear to be a minor detail, but it significantly increases the durability of my phone and makes it easier to handle.
In the tape, it makes a horrible mechanical sound. Even a cheap one from the dollar store couldn't make the same deck. AN EXCESSIVE WASTE OF MONEY! EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREME I'm going to give the Maxell one a shot first, and then I'm going to give up.
EDIT: That one was actually worse after I purchased the Maxell. This led me to believe it was my tape deck, rather than the tape itself, that was causing the problem. In fact, this one is the best of all the ones I've tried. performs all of the above, plus it has a coiled wire that keeps it from dangling. Highly recommended, and without a doubt the best one I've found both online and in stores. Please accept my apologies for the negative feedback that was given too soon!.
When I first tried to use it with my car's cassette tape player, it kept ejecting the adapter. br>To fix it, unscrew the adapter and remove the rubber O-ring gear. It has a ring to it. You can find videos explaining this on YouTube by searching for "How to Fix Constantly Ejecting Cassette Adapter. " br>After that, everything worked fine. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that the adapter makes a mechanical noise when it's in the deck because the gears inside it are constantly turning. This did not bother me because it was not loud enough.
br>br>My modeling experience (as demonstrated: 3. a cassette adapter with a coiled cord The jack (5mm) worked well - At low volumes, it was a little noisy, but it worked consistently. It also operated and stored ideally, which was *key* to my previous satisfaction. There's no need to bundle, tuck, or lay (straight) cords all over the place because they're out of the way. br>br>Instead of the model shown in the photo, I received a completely different model - an AC lighter adapter kit, as well as an adapter with a straight cord. A large, unsightly wad of straight cords was also present. br>br>I'm not sure if they were just trying to send the next similar item or if they made a mistake. Johnny, that coiled cord worked like a charm. The- Spot. Keep your eyes on the road and stay out of the way. There was never a tangle to be found. This mess is a no-no.
I love how easy it is to listen to music from my phone through my car speakers. I had some trouble with the plug at first, but it's a tight fit - Simply press firmly on the adapter's small tab to adjust the cable for either a front- or rear-facing position. or a deck that can be loaded from the side. The cable is a little too short and spiraled - Although it may not be suitable for everyone, it extends far enough to allow me to reach my cellphone on the dashboard (about 12"). The audio quality is excellent. There is no static or hiss. A fantastic purchase! br>11/16/18: br>br>br>br>br>b It is no longer alive. I expected it to last longer than three months, even at such a low price (especially since it was only used a few times per week). There's a problem with the jack - The sound is improved by wriggling it; If you let go, the sound returns to a faint, hollow tone. It's not worth the money.
It isn't engine feedback because I hear it whether the engine is running or off with the ignition key set to "accessory. " I realize I shouldn't expect too much from such a low-cost item, but I hoped it would last longer than a day.
The goal is to reduce the amount of static in the environment. It performs admirably. Make sure your phone's volume is turned all the way up to reduce the amount of static background noise generated by the converter. When I do this (on a Galaxy S6), there is no background noise at all.
I have a CD/Cassette player in my 2004 vehicle. When I want to listen to my downloaded Spotify playlists on my phone, I use this product. For me, there don't appear to be any issues with sound quality. It's as if I'm listening to a CD. The LG V10 is the phone I'm using. When not in use, remove it from the deck and keep it out of direct sunlight to extend its life.
