Mine was the opposite way around. Despite the fact that one side of the cassette says "this side up," there is a small channel running along the top of the cassette where the aux cable can be run in the opposite direction. It will be "upside down" when you put it in your tape deck, but it immediately stopped the clicking noises for me. YMMV, but it's a Toyota OEM radio.
Inquire with the merchant.
I don't believe there is any way to ensure that it will stop. When I have this problem, I eject the card from the slot, shake it a little, and then replace it. If the problem persists, I'll press the button that controls which side the video is being played from.
Yes, the cable can wrap around the tape inside a channel to the long side.

On a 2005 Toyota Camry, it does not work. br>br>I tried it in every direction (including awkwardly tucking in the cord to input). I even opened the cassette and removed the equipment that prevented reverse play, according to the internet. br>br>It would only insert the tape, indicate forward and backward play, and then spit it out. br>I'm let down.
At first, I was skeptical because most of the car-related things I try never work. I have a 2004 Toyota and have had no issues with this device; it popped right in, and there were no issues with it auto-ejecting or anything like that. Since I purchased the vehicle a month ago, it has gone in and stayed there. The sound quality is outstanding. It got super fuzzy for a second, and then I realized I'd pinched the center console cord. Whoops! Apart from that, it's flawless. br>br>To cut a long story short, the product is fantastic and far exceeds my expectations. br>br>.
The sound quality astounded me. Almost no quality was lost during the conversion, if any at all, and my 13-year-old audio player is now raving to the beat. The volume must be turned up to eleven. The transmitter probe/head is covered in a plastic film. I took it out and didn't notice any difference. Advantages: br>br> br>Conversion of high quality. br>Pricing is reasonable. br>br>Cons: br>Mechanics that make a lot of noise. br>Didn't quite fit into my Honda Accord 2000 audio player; the protective cover wouldn't close due to the plastic, not the cable wire; (probably could've solved the noise issue).
This was purchased for a long road trip with our portable DVD player. It turned out to be wonderful. Due to the fact that some DVD players do not have a very loud volume, this plays it through the car's stereo system. My children were able to hear the movie much better and did not have to lean forward in their seats to hear it. The sound did skip every now and then, but it was so minor that it didn't bother me. The tape didn't make a whirling noise, which I didn't notice. We also used it to stream books and music from our phones and tablets. It was fantastic and greatly enhanced our trip! It was still running strong after a 30-hour car ride! I'd buy it again if I had the opportunity.
It's enough to drive me insane. It's not the tape deck because regular music tapes don't make any extra noises. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but this tape makes that terrible noise, and our previous tape adaptor made that terrible noise; I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the noise is there sometimes and not there. br>br>While my phone was in its otterbox, it worked perfectly. I bought a Thule case, but it won't fit into the headphone jack. br>br>On the other hand, it delivers on its promises. The tape deck receives audio from the headphone jack and plays it back.
The first time I ordered this, it was fantastic! I'd tried a few cassette adapters, and this was by far the best sounding!
- It was not the case the second time around. It sounded terrible, and I'd rather listen to music through my iPhone speakers than with this cassette adaptor's poor sound quality. br>Quality control isn't up to par! But I'm going to order it again to see if I can get one that looks more like the first one. If the new version isn't too bad, I'll update my review.
I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima, and I was able to use my iPhone 6 with it. I really enjoyed listening to music on it, and the sound was crystal clear. However, after about two years, After three months of use, it has stopped working. When using the headphone jack, the sound became distorted and distorted. I had a lot of fun with it, so I think it was a good value for the money. However, I believe I will seek out a higher-quality cassette in the future. dependability.
BUY THIS ITEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! I've bought this brand's product twice before, both of which broke after less than four months. When I got out of my car the first time, the audio jack snapped because it got caught on my jacket. Even though it was clearly my fault, it only broke with a small amount of force. I decided to purchase another, which, after less than three months, began to display an "error" message in my car. Since then, I've used a different adapter in my car, indicating that this one simply failed. It was a waste of money!.
