This Elook Car Cassette Aux Adapter is ideal for when your older car is still in good working order but lacks Bluetooth or an AUX port. br>br>This is a simple device that requires a cassette player in your vehicle. Simply unwrap the AUX cord and insert the cassette into your tape player. Then connect your phone or MP3 player to the AUX jack. (Make sure to double-check your phone because headphone jacks are no longer common. ) )br>br>It appears to be quite tasty. There are no hissing or scratchy noises to be heard. It isn't high-end sound, but it suffices for my purposes. It's worth noting that charging your phone at the same time will cause sound to be distorted. Aside from that, it works perfectly in my older Lexus, and the price is excellent.
I got this for my kids for their truck because the Bluetooth thing that they have keeps changing the station and it annoys them. What's funny is that kids don't know what tapes are and he kept telling me that it didn't fit when of course it did he was putting it in completely the wrong way (oh these kids lol) but they love it and it works perfectly. I got an adapter so that they can use their iPhone with it because my twins travel a lot so they don' So I'm not sure when I bought this, but it broke not long ago. I'm going to buy another and keep the rating because my son claims there was an instruction that said you had to eject it before turning off your car or it would damage it, and he shares a car with his twin, who never heeded the warning. It does make sense, though, because your car does something to a tape when you turn it on, so I'll fall for it this time. If it happens again, I'm not buying another. Also, I'd like to point out that I ordered this last night and received it today, which is fantastic! It wasn't supposed to be due until Saturday.
Now, I'm aware that these kinds of devices are prone to breaking, and I've only used this product for one long drive so far, so keep that in mind. But so far, everything appears to be going well. br>br>The product is well-made. It's made of thick plastic and appears to be fairly long-lasting. There are no strange hums, buzzes, or noises, and my stereo turns on immediately when I insert the tape, so I'm looking forward to being able to listen to music in the car. br>br>I believe I paid around $8 for it, so even if it breaks in a month or three, it'll be worth it at that price. If that happens, I'll try to remember to update this review, but I'm impressed so far.
Okay, there was an issue with the first one who arrived. On one cassette player, there is no sound from the left side, while on the other, there is a high hum. Amazon, on the other hand, did a fantastic job of quickly exchanging it. The replacement has arrived, and it's fantastic. br>My 2006 Dodge Charger produces an incredible sound. There are no background noises and there are great highs and lows. There is a significant distance between them. I'm currently listening to music on a basic Sansa MP3 player. I know cassettes are out, but with a unit like this, it's nice to have another way of playing music, other than FM or CDs, since both my Chrysler T and my Jeep Grand Cherokee are equipped with CD players. Cassette players can still be found in the dash of C and Dodge. br>It's like having satellite radio, with unlimited music of "my" choice available on both MP3s and cell phones.
On one end of the cassette, a wire protrudes. The wire may come out the right side or you may have to wrap it down the groove on the side of the device for the wire to feed out of the player and connect to your phone, depending on the orientation of your cassette player in your car. Wrapping it down the groove is a bit of a challenge for me, and you have to find the right position for everything to work out. br>br>Apart from that, it's a good sound! In comparison to my previous experiences, the Bluetooth and AUX jacks aren't crystal clear, but they're good enough and great value for the money; it hasn't broken down or failed me, and it comes in a nice box. If you don't mind fiddling with the wire to get it to work the way you want it to, this is the option for you.
I was on my fourth cassette when I finally found a good product that didn't have any rattle noises and had very clear music. Because it is not like a standard cassette connector, the connection is ideal. I'd make another purchase.
I have a 1952 MG TD with a tape player that I didn't want to mess with because it was in the dash. I purchased this cassette so that I could continue to listen to music on my phone. I tried two Bluetooth-style plug-ins, but neither of them worked. I'm relieved to hear that! br>br>The sound quality isn't quite as good as it would be with an aux port, but it's a cassette player, and some of us remember those days. On those, too, the sound wasn't perfect. br>br>I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my husband's classic car as well.
I simply clicked back and forth until the adapter was ejected. I previously bought what I thought was a similar item from another Amazon seller, only to discover that the two are EXACTLY the same, save for the logo. Both the Elook and the Arsvita are the same low-quality POS, so don't waste your money on either! It's the equivalent of purchasing a CD that has been scratched with steel wool. It's insane!.
