Yes, as long as your car has a cassette player. However, I believe you would be better off spending a little more on a better one or, for better audio quality, using an FM transmitter instead. Even though it's only $6, this piece is pretty bad.
It works fine on my car's cassette player, and it should work with an old boombox as well. I'm not sure about the cassette player, but it should work.

These cassette adapters are becoming increasingly difficult to come by in stores, so I'm glad Amazon has a large selection. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the sound quality, in my opinion, isn't up to par. I've previously purchased several from Walmart that were relatively inexpensive but had superior bass and overall sound to this one. However, there is no feedback or clicking sound when it is playing, and it appears to be working properly now that I've had it for a few weeks, so it's a good buy overall. Especially if you don't want to listen to anything with a lot of bass or a lot of beats, or if you don't want to listen to anything too loud. which, alas, I do.
We hoped to use it to listen to Sirius on our phone. We expected to lose some sound quality as a result, but that it would still be acceptable. It was a disaster! The sound quality was so poor that we decided not to use it because having no music was preferable to the poor sound quality. This product is not for me. br>br>I would not recommend it.
For the price, I didn't expect much, but it's actually quite bad. Sound quality is poor, there are pops and crackles, it is a noisy operation, with a 70% volume reduction. It's all garbage. However, it was delivered extremely quickly. br>br>The only thing that can be said in favor of this situation is that.
It does exactly what I expected it to do. Does not like to travel on bumpy roads. Similar to a Walkman before the anti-static technology was developed. Do not rely on technology.
It was well-packaged and arrived quickly, but it was incompatible with my Jeep. I was pleased to see that despite the lack of detailed instructions, a product could be figured out and used with relative ease.
This cassette adapter accomplished exactly what I had hoped for. It enabled me to use a portable CD player in a car that previously only had a cassette player and a radio.
This is a pass-through audio. I have to turn up the volume all the way because the volume is so low and filled with hum and static. This was tried on a boom box, a home stereo, and in a car, but I gave up and went back to using my old (15-year-old) car stereo. year- I've reassembled an old (but still functional) adapter. funky.
I didn't keep this one for long because it began to crack and pop after a while of use.
