Questions & Answers
Yes, I turned on Bluetooth on my phone.
I believe that a metal AUX plug will last much longer than a plastic AUX plug, and that sound quality transmission and contact will be improved.
What am I supposed to do now that it has been stolen twice from my car?
Yes. Simply connect it to the power source. 😁

br>I like the sound quality. br>I like the cable materials.
The rubber wheel on the capstan had fallen off when I arrived, but I was able to repair it with tweezers. It doesn't appear that a stereo pickup is being used. Either that, or something went wrong with the connection. The right channel is the only one that is being played. The sound quality is still superior to that of Bluetooth!.
This was a gift for my son, who enjoys classic cars but also enjoys listening to music. He described it as "a fantastic piece of equipment. " His friends all have adapters, but most of them sound crackly or dull, but this one appears to be the best of the bunch. This is an excellent purchase. It made him extremely happy.
It has poor sound quality, causing sounds to echo, mute, and sound distant, as if they were coming from a tin can. I know it was this product and not the sound system because I replaced it with one from a different company, which works perfectly. The money spent was not well spent.
As is typical of Amazon, the product arrived on time. The unit worked well right out of the box. The only drawback was that when the unit was in the play position, it made a grating "rumble-rumble-rumble-rumble-rumble-rumble-rumble-rumble- "Nearly mechanical. " Poor cable/plug transition engineering has caused previous units from various manufacturers to fail. This one, I'm hoping, will be the one.
To begin with, it arrived quickly and in good condition, complete with its own box. This particular cassette player has a lot of good reviews, but I'm not sure why because the audio quality isn't that great once you use it. Even with the bass turned up in my car, it sounds very basic, as if there is no bass at all. It's as if it has its own output, which you can't control. In general, the music is uninteresting. My old cassette player sounded much better, with much better bass, treble, and overall sound. I assume it's a generic brand cassette. To be honest, I'd recommend going with a different one. br>I was going to give it one star, but it does work, albeit not very well.
I inserted the adapter, plugged it in, and began to listen to music - very simple Sadly, no matter how much I adjust the phone volume up and down, radio volume up and down, etc. , the sound is just a little flat and tinny. At the best setting (about% Why is this so? It's definitely worth the money for the price; in hindsight, I'm not sure if I should have spent the couple of extra dollars on the bluetooth version, but this one is more than adequate - I'll keep it until I get rid of my old car with the cassette player.
br>At the time, cassette players were good, but now they're even better. This unit has restored my musical enjoyment, but it is now exclusively Gospel music.
