Hello, it is compatible with your iPhone SE (first generation).
Mine took two attempts to turn on after being plugged into the cigarette lighter. However, I would first check it in another car to see if it works, as it could be the cigarette lighter in your vehicle.

I've been using it for about 6 months, primarily on drives of 1 hour or more. I found it difficult to use at first because I was constantly getting radio interference. However, once I discovered a channel that I liked (107. 3), as a result of this, my viewpoint has shifted. To fully enjoy it, you'll need to find a station with as little interference as possible. 107, I discovered. 3 works best in the New York City area and on Long Island; however, if you drive from state to state for a long time, you will eventually pick up the local station, which will take over the sound. There isn't much you can do about it except wait it out or unplug the transmitter for a few minutes, especially if you're using your phone for navigation. If the volume on the bluetooth adapter and your phone is too low when you're listening to the radio, make sure to turn up the volume on both. Both music and phone calls had excellent sound quality. I still don't know how to take a call because the call doesn't always go through the bluetooth. br>br>Quick fix tip: if your bluetooth stops working, such as when you turn off the car to fill up with gas, simply unplug the unit and plug it back in when you restart the car. All of your settings should have been saved, and your phone should now be able to detect a Bluetooth signal. It's not perfect, but it's a great alternative for cars that don't have built-in Bluetooth.
This purchase has made me extremely happy- I have an older car and wanted to be able to listen to music that I had downloaded to my phone while driving. Because the car doesn't have an auxiliary port and I like being able to charge my phone while driving, this is ideal. It does have a microphone, which can be used to make calls, but I would not recommend purchasing it solely for that purpose. Although the sound quality for listening is excellent, and the built-in controls are simple and intuitive, I've been told that it's difficult to hear me when I answer calls through the device, which is likely due to the mic being so far away from my voice. Still, the sound quality for listening is excellent, and the built-in controls are simple and intuitive. than- fifteen- I've never made a better buck purchase in my life!.
This is something I bought for one of my older cars. With an updated bluetooth radio, I didn't want to detract from the original look. The link is fantastic. It produces a pleasant sound. When you're on the phone with someone, the other person has a hard time hearing you. This one is best for listening to music rather than making phone calls. The volume button isn't something I use very often, but it could be a useful feature for some people. It is extremely simple to operate.
In my work van, which has no BT or Aux, it works perfectly. I've had it for just over three months and haven't had any problems with it. 7 FM is the only station in the United States that is always on, so I always use it for devices like this to get the best audio with no static. I've used it for hands-free calling, and when you do, the microphone in the adapter is activated, and no one has ever commented on it. It performs admirably and also serves as a quick charger for my Galaxy.
I just opened it and it doesn't work; there's no sound at all, even when the volume is turned all the way up. I contacted the company and they didn't respond, and I know it's not my car because everything works perfectly fine with a family member's fm transmitter. I may have gotten a defective product anyways that was my experience, and I hope yours doesn't end up the same.
Here's a great example of functionality: a charger (USB and non-USB compatible) A as well as USB- C, which allows for fast charging) AND an FM transmitter (which can play music from both Bluetooth and a USB flash drive). The dial controls volume and FM station (with a long press), while the buttons skip tracks. br>br>The only drawback I've found is the device's size, which only fits sideways into my car plug. It's not a problem, except that you have to read the FM station sideways (which you shouldn't do unless you're driving long distances).
I recently purchased a 2005 Volkswagen Beetle convertible to drive around in, but the radio isn't very good. I gave it a shot, and now I have Bluetooth and can listen to music from YouTube! It was an excellent addition to my lime green convertible for the price of $13! Also, all I had to do was plug it in, sync it with my phone, and it took care of the rest.
The built-in voice will announce "Bluetooth connecting" as soon as you connect. Which wouldn't be so bad if the volume wasn't double that of the music or phone. Every time it does that, it literally scares the living daylights out of me. Otherwise, it appears to be in good working order. It's not bad at all for the money.
