This is something that Zoom can help you with. The camera is usually set to face down so that you can write your notes while the rest of the class can see them. If the students share their webcam images, you'll be able to see them regardless of whether or not you're using this camera.
NO, it does not fall over. You may be using the wrong placement method; the round base has a hole; you should place the stand direction towards the farthest position of the hole from the round base; you can refer to the product placement method in the picture; it is very sturdy, will not tip over; it is an excellent document camera for the classroom.

So far, it's met my expectations. My only gripe is with the foundation. When moving the camera in different positions, I wish it was a little heavier to prevent it from tipping over.
It was simple to set up, and I was able to show documents to my students while they were learning.
The purchase of this item was well worth it. Very good condition.
This turned out to be ideal for the task. It's simple to put together and operate. I strongly advise using it for purposes other than document creation. Great product; I would buy it again and recommend it to others.
It's great that it's focused on the outside.
It works well in both bright and dim lighting. Quality materials are used to construct the stand and the camera. The base of the stand is large and rectangular, measuring approximately 3. 5" x 5. With a height of 25", the camera is unlikely to fall over. There are also three hinged joints that can lay almost flat. I could be wrong, but the stand has a substantial weight to it, so I'm guessing it's made of metal. A hinge runs along the bottom of the stand, followed by two rectangular rods, another hinge, a single rectangular rod, and another hinge at the top. The camera-carrying arm is held in place by the top hinge.
This DocCam was purchased for use in my online class. Writing strategies, reading strategies, and math problems will all be modelled during my virtual class. When students needed extra assistance, I would share my screen with them and use the white board. Writing on the whiteboard is difficult, but DocCam makes it so much easier in my virtual class. br>I'm a big fan of this doc cam. Setting it up is a breeze. All you have to do is plug it into a computer's USB port, and the computer will recognize it automatically. There is no need for additional software. Even in very low light conditions, the image quality is excellent, and there is no lag in the image. The camera is small and portable, and it can be turned in any direction to suit your needs. It also came with a lavalier microphone, so I can now speak softly while still being heard clearly by my students. This book comes highly recommended.
