Yes, this doc cam can also be used as a webcam. The camera and microphone are both excellent. You should be aware of one trick for using it as a webcam: Your face will appear upside-down on your screen when you raise the camera head to look at you. By pressing the "brighter" and "dimmer" light buttons at the same time, you can flip your image 180 degrees (right side up). (On top of the camera head, these are the two buttons on the outer edges.) It works flawlessly, looks and sounds fantastic, and there's no need for any additional software! However, I strongly advise you to purchase a regular webcam that allows you to show your face so that you can continue to use the Inswan INS- 1 as a document camera to demonstrate your problem-solving abilities. Switching it back and forth while attempting to teach will be inconvenient!
Yes. INS- 1 has a digital zoom of 8 times.
Yes. Press both the (brightness) and (brightness-) buttons at the same time. To flip the image vertically, use the () buttons on the camera head. You can also rotate and horizontally/vertically flip the image using the Documate software that comes with it.
By default, Zoom videos are mirrored; there are two options for fixing this: To get the correct image orientation, either use the included Documate software and ZOOM's Sharing Screen, or change the ZOOM video settings by unchecking "Mirror my video." That's exactly what this document camera is. The image quality is excellent, the software is simple to install and use on my computer, and moving the camera is simple. For the classroom, this is a must-have!.
It was a good solution. My daughter was recently forced to complete all of her school projects at home due to the Corona virus outbreak. As a result, she needed to come up with a way to show her teammates how to perform certain tasks in real time. time is spent on the internet She was overjoyed when she realized she could do just that by using Zoom, Skype, or Google Hangouts in conjunction with my document camera. So she began to use it, and she was even more ecstatic when she discovered that she could annotate her video footage in real time. time and directly over anything on the screen with your comments. During their web conference discussion, this feature came in handy quite a bit. Because this camera is compatible with both Mac and Windows PCs, her entire team quickly purchased one. As a result, all team members' collaborations became even more effective, and her team received an A for the project. Bravo! This is a camera I wholeheartedly recommend.
This is an excellent document camera that is simple to use. When you plug it into my computer's USB port, you'll be prompted to install the software (much like a new mouse or simple add-on). br>I'm using it to teach art classes remotely during the Covoid crisis. It was also simple to use. I can get a close look at samples by zooming in. A white board is included with the camera, which I used as a "chalkboard. " On the computer screen, I can draw and type. br>Sharing my screen with students has been simple (we use Zoom in class). br>It was significantly less expensive than some of the other caneras I considered. I'm really glad I purchased this camera. If I had any criticisms, it would be that the camera could zoom out a little further. Because it does not all fit, it can be difficult to see a large image. Aside from that, this camera has exceeded my expectations.
This document camera is a dream come true for me. Despite the fact that my technical skills do not match what is possible, I like what the free software download allows it to do: Make a white board, a black board, draw, erase, record lessons, take still pictures, use it with a computer webcam, connect it to a microscope, and more. The base has a nice weight to keep the camera from tipping over, and even the lamp part can be tipped upward or downward, and the website (inswan. com) is small enough to fit in a computer bag. A manual is available for download at (com). A non-removable lens is included with the doc cam. A glare sheet, a quick reference sheet, and a small bag of microscope adapters are all included. Any emails I've sent have received prompt responses from the company. It's as simple as downloading the camera--as others have pointed out. double-checking the software, plugging in the USB, and double-checking the software On the desktop, click the Documate software icon.
The document camera appears to be of good quality. It's light and doesn't take up much space on your desk. The head is easily able to move up and down. The camera instructions in the box direct the user to the InSwan website, where a download button is available. My computer flagged the files as potentially dangerous after I clicked it, and I had no idea which one to open. I have to download new software (not InSwan's) in order to read any of the files. I've sent an email to the company and am waiting for a response from technical support.
I was having technical issues at first due to a computer anti-virus program, and Inswan technical support came to my rescue. In my classroom, everything is running smoothly! My students and I are looking forward to using it with our small books.
I'm a big fan of this documentary camera. It's supported by a small base, so it doesn't take up much room on my desk. It is simple to download and install the application software. The Documate applications that come with the package work well and are extremely useful. The picture quality is outstanding. It's what I use with my class to project lecture material onto a large LCD monitor and annotate it. The Record function is extremely useful, as it allows me to fully record an instruction session for later use or to upload to YouTube for distance learners. It is also used by my students for presentations, and they find it to be extremely useful. This book comes highly recommended.
This is a significant improvement over the Hue cameras I purchased and replaced. It's fantastic, and the autofocus is fantastic. It's ideal for my needs as an online tutor.
