Prior to that, I was learning online with a webcam attached to a bendable metal arm. I had problems with both! I still wanted to use a document camera for demonstrations via our smartboard and to record when I returned to school this year, despite having full classes. This document camera is fantastic for uploading demonstrations to the internet. It was ideal for my requirements! It appeals to me. The image is crystal clear! The autofocus feature is incredible! This document camera does a fantastic job of displaying colors and even pencil lines! Everyone in our department should have one, in my opinion! The price is very reasonable, and the product performs admirably. Peeps who work in the art world, get this one!.
I also appreciate the ability to reduce glare by adjusting the brightness. For teletherapy sessions, I use it with Zoom for speech therapy. All I have to do is plug it in when I'm on Zoom, and it's ready to use! I'm using a MacBook Air, which is fantastic. I simply plug in my usb-connected device. Adapter for connecting a c to a USB port.
I'm a kindergarten teacher, and this little camera has saved my life by allowing me to show math models in front of the camera, which appear clear and crisp. The led light on this is fantastic because it allows me to turn off the lights in my classroom while still allowing the children to see the projection clearly. And, because I'm using an old projector, I have to dim the lights just to see. It is simple to operate the software. Only the auto focus isn't perfect because it's a little slow, but it works fine once you get used to it; you just have to be patient.
The instructor and students were able to see each other clearly enough to guide and verify the technical class's close attention to detail. I was able to adjust the video so that the glare from the plastic cover over my work was eliminated. I didn't need the camera light because it perfectly picked up the light from the room. Customer service was extremely helpful in familiarizing me with the adjustments while I was using the camera on the day it was delivered!.
For displaying close-up details, the camera quality is excellent. Because the autofocus is slow and frequently refocuses on something other than the foreground object when showing items up close, I've resorted to using manual focus and only pressing the refocus button when the item displayed is further away or closer to the camera. It would be fantastic if the camera's autofocus was a little more reliable. Aside from that, it's ideal for my requirements.
It's simple to plug in and set up. Useful in a hurry. Easily transferred to in zoom to share screen or as primary camera (select in the camera options) instead of your face cam. I frequently present/zoom, and this doc cam has been an excellent addition to my hardware!.
This camera is brand new to me, and I'm very pleased with it. It has a nice weighted stable base, nice adjustments, great picture, great software (except for the need to add contrast adjustment to settings), and great picture. The plastic adjustment arms are thin and flexible, and the camera head oscillates when the camera or table is moved, which is a significant design flaw that their engineers should have recognized and corrected. The plastic arms, as well as a more secure mounting fixture on the base, should be made of stiff hard plastic. But I'm still satisfied, and while this isn't a deal breaker, it is something they should work on.
This camera is ideal for projecting drawings, papers, and other materials onto a live Zoom feed. It is what I use to instruct my students. It's working perfectly.
