It isn't connected to the internet.
It should be compatible with a Dell laptop. The Epson Smart is something I don't know much about.

The images are in 1080p, but the videos are only in 720p. This isn't what I had in mind. Everything in the description indicates that the video is in 1080p or high definition. The maximum frame rate for 720p video is 30 frames per second, according to the manual that came with the unit. When I inquired about it, I received no response from the sender.
We purchased eight of these, and our IT person was only able to get the one with an Epson projector to work. No other projectors or laptops were able to communicate with them.
I've been mirroring on an iPad, but the WiFi connection has always been a problem. There are no more WiFi issues, and I like how easy it is to set up and use, and the picture quality isn't bad. I wish I could zoom a little more and have better focus quality, but for the price, it's the best thing ever! I figured I don't always zoom because I'm using it to show text, but the focus feature takes a little while to adjust, especially when I'm using it to show video. When I pressed the "focus" button, everything became clear.
We invested in the DC- 21 was purchased primarily for use as a document scanner in university libraries while conducting research. The image quality (for PDFs) is extremely poor, according to our findings. At best, hazy, glare issues, and auto-focus The focus is frequently a tad off - It will be necessary to adjust manually. It is undoubtedly excellent for its other intended uses, such as classroom projection, but other document cameras that do not handle those tasks as well have better scan-in capabilities. Editing/cropping features and file capabilities.
My computer will no longer be supported once I upgrade to Catalina MCOS.
Despite the fact that it claims to be MAC friendly, I was unable to connect this to my Mac. I'm not sure if the model was defective or if it was a software issue, but I sent it back and replaced it with an Ipevo, which works perfectly.
This is a fantastic resource for teachers.
For a year, I used this product and had issues with it disconnecting from my computer on occasion. Customer service guaranteed the item and replaced it with a refurbished unit. The refurbished unit didn't work reliably with a variety of devices and cables. If you need a document camera that will work consistently, I do not recommend this document camera.
