I haven't tried, but I don't believe it is possible. In the structure, there doesn't appear to be anything that could be used in that way.

This is a five-star review. First and foremost, the item arrived much sooner than anticipated and in excellent condition. packaging that has been created The assembly instructions, on the other hand, were simply outstanding. I was impressed by the thoughtful design and clarity of the assembly instructions because I am a technical writer with a pet peeve against poorly written instructions. Each step described a single action, and any parts required for that step were placed in a separate baggie with the step number clearly labeled on it. To compensate for those pesky ones that fall off the table and roll under the couch, plenty of extra parts were provided in another baggie. Overall, the assembly process was quick, easy, and intuitive, and the stand is a well-made, sturdy piece of equipment. It's sturdy, heavy, stable, and simple to operate. It gives you a lot of options, and the optional microscope is a nice touch. (I upgraded for the sake of having fun, but I'm already thinking of ways to use the magnification feature. ) ) My only qualm so far is with the magnetic light - Despite the LED array, it still appears to cast a bright spot on document pages, so I've devised a new method of uniformly lighting my documents. However, it's a fantastic little multipurpose light, and I'm glad I have it. A cover for the magnifying lenses would be beneficial to protect them from dust and scratches. For the time being, I'm making do with one of the parts baggies until I can come up with a more elegant solution. In conclusion, the Dewey Document Camera Stand receives an excellent grade. I'm really happy with it.
