The replacement door latch did not fit my old Hook 5 only the new Series 2 Hook 5 does, so I had to return it. I have not found any helpful information on the Lowrance website about lost attachment pins like the ones you find on larger units. Lowrance's quality has gone downhill like a great many other companies around the world that manufacture overseas. Most people have gone to Humingbirds, an app that is linked with Minn Kota, but I like my Garmin better.
The angle can be a little tricky to adjust. He tends to travel a lot There is a need for some sort of guiding pin. I highly recommend this product.
Lowrance mounts work just fine with this so it's an original!.
