It is a must-have accessory for a Humminbird boat

It is highly recommended that you get this chip if you have a Humminbird fish finder. Don't get me wrong, the preloaded maps are decent, but the LakeMaster chip is a whole other It measures the depth in 1 foot increments rather than 5 feet as it does on the preloaded map, and the LakeMaster team does an exceptional job of detailing the lakes on the map. It is easier to appreciate the difference in mapping technology when you are running on a rocky hump in the middle of a lake at 30mph.

The chip is good

This is a good thing. Helix 9 is still new to me, and from what I've seen thus far, it seems to work well. Maybe it's just my setup, but my satellite map overlay only covers a relatively small area inland from the shore line. The evidence it provides is sufficient nevertheless. It is very nice to have shallow water highlights. The HD lakes are few and far between.

It turned out to be a version 3 of the actual product sent and mentioned in the fine print. In terms of my purposes, I was not affected, however, I find it disappointing not to receive what was portrayed.
