The ski does the job in my ski doo

In order to install my gps/depth finder on my skidoo, I bought the kit. a transponder mounted in the back near the center of the boat, and this kit provided my exact angle of viewpoint I needed for the transducer to point straight down through a hull that is angled downwards. I used glue and antifreeze, and it worked like a charm. *FYI, I am too cheap to pay $300 to pay someone else to install my gps/finder on my jetski (that takes an hour). If you ask me to do something like this, I won't unless I am pretty sure you can do it yourself. There are lots of people doing the same thing, so I did a little "JFGI" (Just Freaking Google It). I can tell you this with confidence. My jetski will not be compromised by this, and it was very easy to The start of the event made me more nervous than the event itself.

I use it with my Garmin 742XS with no problems

In my experience, this transducer is in excellent working order My sailboat has a rather thick solid fiberglass hull, and so I'm using it on it. It was easy to install. Gluing down the tank was only attempted after I tested the location with a ziplock bag full of water. In the tank, I did not use toxic antifreeze. I now have depth information available for other instruments on my NMEA 2000 network due to the 742XS being connected to it. In line with expectations, the fishfinder function works only on the 742XS connected to the computer.
