Maybe because it has a ceramic needle. The high tracking force of a ceramic needle, assuming it is properly aligned, will wear out records much faster and, if not properly aligned, will damage them. Go for it if you're listening to 3 dollar vinyl from Goodwill. If you value your records, stay away from this player and anything else in the sub-150 price range.

The sound quality of this vintage-style record player is quite good. I was pleasantly surprised; there was no vibrating bass, no "Tinny" sound from the treble, just a pleasant, smooth listening experience. Of course, the amount of scratching you hear will vary depending on the condition of your records; I was able to find one that had almost no scratches: ) This is an excellent value for money purchase.
I've also included a video for you to listen to! Please keep in mind that my vinyl is a little worn out. The ability to close the lid while the record is playing is one of my favorite features. With my old record player, I couldn't do that. Furthermore, the volume can be turned up to levels far beyond what I require. It took less than 5 minutes to set everything up. I'm glad I decided to get a new one because it was such a good buy.
To begin with, I spent a long time looking for the perfect record player. I live in a loft and wanted something that was a modern take on a vintage item, and this is exactly what I'm looking for! It's so sleek and cool, and it just adds to the coziness of our loft. Because we live in a loft, our ceilings are close to 20 feet high and span over 1,500 square feet, having a Bluetooth connection is a must. To fill the space, I knew the record player would need to have fairly loud speakers. These can be quite loud at times. You'll notice that I demonstrate the loft's size in the video. And the record player's volume isn't turned all the way up. Although I am not a record connoisseur, I can attest to the sound quality. I have a large collection of vintage 1960s records - They're all from the 1980s, and they all sound fantastic! There isn't a lot of bass, the high notes are crisp, and the transitions are seamless. There isn't a single squeaky treble in sight. The small bar that slowly lowers the needle is one of my favorite features. There will be no more scratched vinyl! This is a must-buy.
Both the sound and the appearance are excellent. It can get quite loud at parties and is simple to adjust and set up. It's fantastic, and I've already told others about it.
I adore this gorgeous turntable suitcase; it plays like a dream, and the sound is fantastic even without headphones; you can hear all of the instruments, including the bass, but there's no heavy big bass sound, and the vocals are crystal clear. It's loud, crisp, and clear, and it plays old records flawlessly. It's small, so you can take it anywhere; just remember to take out that long-playing lp before closing the suitcase, or the record will fall apart; I'm kidding, of course you'd take the lp out when traveling with it. I got the brown one, which is a lovely medium brown color and looks like a small suitcase for an overnight stay. It reminds me of my childhood in the 1960s, when we had a small portable turntable that we used to listen to Beatles records and Monkees singles and LPs. If you purchase one, you will enjoy it as much as I do.
This isn't something you should buy. I was ecstatic to get my hands on this turntable. I grew up listening to records and have owned a number of record players. My record collection isn't extensive, but the ones I do have are ones I cherish and for which I have paid a significant sum of money. I'd had this turntable for three hours and was looking forward to playing a brand new record that I'd just purchased, but it skipped on every track. single. song. The warped sound distortion made it even more insane. I assumed it was the record, so I played four more new songs, as well as a long-time favorite ($$$$). All of them skipped, and my favorite was permanently damaged by the ceramic needle, which I had foolishly tested with. I'm so disappointed in myself for going against my better judgment on this low price point. Spend a little more and you will have a better time.
The sound quality and craftsmanship of this turntable have both impressed me. First and foremost, the setup was extremely simple. I was able to get it up and running in under ten minutes. Second, the audio quality is excellent. I like to put my vinyl player through its paces by listening to bebop jazz. The stereo's bass is deep and rich, while the high note is crisp and clear. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys vinyl music.
It's ideal for listening to vinyl records! There are no issues with it; it functions flawlessly.
