The audio quality is AWFUL! It's lovely, but I'm disappointed, and the customer service is a joke. I'm unable to return, and I believe it is unjust because everything at Covid was shut down during the window for returning this! Purchases should be avoided. SAVING MONEY IS A GOOD THING TO DO.
Regardless of the negative reviews, I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did, because it appears to be working. I'm not sure about the phono because I don't have any, but I'll look into it. I've only had it for about an hour, but I'm pleased with the sound for the price, as well as the farm exterior, which I also like. I'll keep you updated if I run into any issues. I bought this to play 78rpm records so I could start selling my large collection, but I wanted to make sure it worked first, so I tested it with a 33rpm record. I attempted to properly place the tone arm, but it slipped from my grasp. Tango In The Night by Fleetwood Mac is one of the records that I skated on. is now ruined as a result of this piece of garbage. My Fleetwood Mac collection had been in great shape up until that point. Any record player marketed to the general public should be fully automated. The fact that the tone arm is manually operated was not mentioned in the description. It ought to have been. I'm still looking for a 78rpm record player. I'll make certain it has a tone arm that works automatically.
It sounds fantastic and appears to be a lot more expensive than it actually was. I recently discovered approximately 200 old records and decided to purchase a player in order to play them.
