This belt appeared to fit my Technics turntable perfectly, but I was unable to reduce the speed to the proper level. I'd had it with trying.

It's a perfect match for my old Optimus turntable, and it's simple to set up

My old Optimus record player needed a new turntable belt, so I bought this to replace it. br>When I first installed it, the turntable's speed began to drop, causing the audio to become distorted. So I remembered from another review that there is a "right side" and a "wrong side" to the belt. To put it another way, I had to take the belt off and turn it inside out (which was the correct side) so it wouldn't slip up and down on the small spindle beneath the turntable plate. That fixed the issue, and it's been working perfectly since then. I can play along with the records on my keyboard instruments, so I know the speed is correct.

Yamaha P-Series 220 I was concerned that the belt would be too tight for my Yamaha P-150 when I first received it

220 The width of the new belt is exactly the same as the old belt, and the length is about an inch shorter, but due to the elasticity, it works fine. I did not notice any differences in the tone or pitch of the turntable after replacing it.

It's the right size for my KD- Kenwood 491F record player

Unlike another belt sold on Amazon, this one fits my Kenwood KD-2000 perfectly. 491F is the model number for the turntable. I was concerned that it would be too small, but it was simple to install, and records played smoothly on the turntable. The turntable would not spin without a gentle push to get it started because the original belt had deteriorated to the point of being too loose.
