Headshell Though not high-level, I find this to be a decent, perfectly acceptable piece of software The headshell is of audiophile grade. Although the item is made in China (as noted on the underside), the craftsmanship appears to be good with no obvious flaws. Although I was unsure about buying based on the images, I did decide to buy. I found the design to be bold, flashy, and did not care for it at all. The photos may give you the impression it is overstated, but in person it looks much more understated. The headshell is of a decent quality, in line with the price. There are no issues
Ease There is a lot of buzz surrounding the new AT cartridge line because it is easy to install and does not require screws. In fact, it is very easy to manipulate the cartridge and align it to just about any position. Congratulations to AT for making a simple but highly effective design tweak that takes the pressure off of all of us with large hands and short To adjust your alignment, all you need is a flathead screwdriver. I was able to screw my headshell right into the table with no problems.
Sound As I mentioned earlier, I am still getting used to the program. With it, you get a lot more clarity and bass punch than with, for example, the LP60 conical stylus. There are no distortions or artifacts in the highs or lows (bass). There is no distortion anywhere on the record as the needle tracks across it. You won't be disappointed with this deal, you're getting good value for your money. It isn't difficult to adjust the turntable if you do not know how. These shoes were purchased after reading numerous online reviews saying they're hard to beat for their price. You may be right, but I would never want to hear something In addition to getting a few used 1200 mk2s with horrible needles, I thought I'd try these needles in order to save a few bucks. I suggest that you don't try that. It's hard to hear what is being said. There are a few portion of the intended frequencies heard, but there is so much noise that they disappear. The head shells are much noisier than those of the Technic, Pioneer and Stanton brands. Furthermore, they receive no signal from us, so they have a bit of feedback. After playing one record with these needles, I decided my records deserved better, so I returned them and bought My Ortofons are the best I've ever used.
