When I first connected these, my first impression was that they were muddy in the middle, which was a bit of a letdown given that they are 3-dimensional. (I was hoping for some middle ground definition). They weren't bad enough to warrant a return, but I'm glad I got them on sale during Prime Day. br>br>According to one of the other reviewers, they "broke them in" by running sound through them (br>br> I've been using them for over a month now, and my opinion of them has improved. They aren't "hi-tech," but they are a step in the right direction. fi" For what I'm using them for (I WFH, so in my home office), they're pretty good. Using the speakers has helped a little, and they have a little more middle definition now. Their responses, both low and high, were never truly in response to a question - It's all about the middle. They can handle some fairly low frequencies (a good test is music with a real string bass). They need a lot of power to run, and at higher volumes, they can get a little distorted. They should be sufficient for a bookshelf system or as surround speakers. The build quality is excellent, and they even include a wall hanger (although they are heavy, so use appropriate hardware to keep them on the wall). They're well-made and don't take up a lot of space. It's simple to remove the Moukey logo if you don't like it. br>br>I'm getting used to them. They didn't make a good first impression at first, but that is changing over time.

  I expected these to sound good when I bought them, but I didn't expect them to sound THIS GOOD! br>The sound is clear, the hi/mid radio is excellent, and it has more bass than I anticipated. Granted, I still use a subwoofer with them because I like a little extra boom, but it'll do just fine on its own. I've read a few reviews that claim the speakers aren't actually 110 watts, despite the fact that the sticker claims 55 watts. However, those ding dongs are unaware that each speaker is rated at 55 watts, for a total of 110 watts for the entire set! smh. Guys, do your homework. But, in any case, these are far more valuable than the price you're paying for them. I've got them hooked up to a Moukey MAMP1 and it's the best thing I've ever done with my record setup. br>Just take them!.

It sounds great, looks great, and it's not too expensive. I'm a bit of an audiophile when it comes to sound quality, especially when it comes to my vinyl records. These speakers are a perfect match for my $1200 Spendor SP- 1's. Because they're 6 ohm, I had to adjust my amp's settings; keep that in mind.

Reviews from the past Amazon's description of the 3-piece set Impedance was not mentioned by way passive, but it was mentioned in the reviews. 6 ohms were visible in the photographs. THE BOX, ON THE OTHER HAND, DID SHOW UP. 4 ohms were displayed. Opened to look at both speakers' speaker tags. Specifications for impedance have been updated. With my current speaker, I was unable to use it. amp set- I didn't even attempt to connect them. I contacted customer service to inquire about a possible replacement. They went out of their way to replace the set! They went above and beyond after a few troubleshooting procedures failed to bring it back to life. Now it's time for the speakers to take the stage. The sound quality is what you'd expect from a small bookshelf speaker, but these perform admirably for rear channel AVR. The connections are straightforward, and a sturdy wall mount bracket is included. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and the customer service has been outstanding.

I had to do a major diagnostic, first removing the speaker and finding nothing, then removing the speaker connection plate and finding the issue- The black wire to the CROSSOVER board was loose; yes, it had been soldered improperly, so I had to re-solder it. I re-solder it in place and re-installed it. It took me 40 minutes to put it together and it works fine; I shouldn't have had to do it, but it was faster than returning it for a refund. br>I only bought them because they were on sale for $69 a pair before the Sonys were. Still, for the low price, they sound fine, and I'll keep repairing them as long as I can. Thank you for taking the time to read the review. Thank you, Honest Guy.
