Questions & Answers

The sub out of this system needs to connect to a subwoofer, but what cable do I need?

The range is from 5 to 3mm. (If the sub has a 3. 5mm cable. (if your sub has RCA inputs) Connect the sub with a 5mm jack to the sub with an RCA cable

Would these speakers work with any model of powered subwoofer from Polk Audio?

As powered subwoofers only require a line-level input signal, you can use ANY brand or size of powered subwoofer that you want. Feel free to submit any sub. In comparison, if you want a sub that complements the size of these 4" Edifier, then the Polk 10" would be a better option.

Is there a way to measure the height, width, and depth?

A 6in x 10in x 8in frame measures 8in x 10in. (8in x 8in x 8in)

Can you see what mode the speaker is in if there is a light?

If the Bluetooth mode is on (see instructions), the light is only on.

Costs more than the 1700, but is worth it
5/5

Both the 1700 (A) and 1850 (B) I bought were made in Japan. 1700 for more details. B has a noticeable/dramatically better vocal range compared to A (1000-1500Hz) (I believe it is worth 25 dollars. more beautiful compared to B's black piano appearance. (I believe it is worth 25 dollars. b) I value B's subtap a. -) B has a digital optical input, which gives me a chance to compare my analogue RCA out (to B) with my digital optical out (to B's converter), to see if there is a noticeable (A future update will be available. a higher power consumption than A, but I cannot tell the difference. although I'd like to have it. There is always a benefit to being louder! Since I am a critical listener with failing eardrums who still has enough money to both enjoy the quality and bite the bullet, I kept B for its worth. What a great idea! As far as my sub is concerned, I hope it (A future update will be available.

So far, so good
5/5

I'm thinking of getting some speakers at a reasonable price. I have finally found a pair of speakers that I like that are reasonably priced. So far, it has been a good experience. A 10" Polk powered subwoofer was added to it for a little more punch. I love the sound, as well as the clean sound. For my computers, I have purchased 8 speaker systems in the last 2 years and 4 of them just this summer. My goal is to find a set of speakers that will serve a wide range of demands (gaming, streaming videos, music, Logitech z623 and the R1850db (they are both worth it for the price they offer A good sound and low price) are the only 2 of the 8 that I enjoy using, with the 1850's being my favorite. The price of these items ought to be 3 times as much A polk sub will become active once you add it on. I was originally looking for gaming speakers for the new PC after landing the 623s for the original. However, I found out time and time again that you are sacrificing too much sound quality in exchange for some bling. Even though I could have lived with the other systems just fine, when I turn them on for the first time, I will feel satisfied with my purchase. Let me answer a few questions about cable for those of us who aren't really tech savvy, like me. My own question was one of those I asked before I purchased the item. The RCA jacks labeled PC on the back of the speakers are very likely to be used by most people in order to connect their speakers to a computer. An RCA to three jack is attached to these speakers. The cable is 5mm in diameter. Another cable of the same type is needed if you wish to connect the active subwoofer to these speakers. The problem is here, and this is where the confusion lies. A cable of this type is included in Edifier. There is only a little more than six feet of cable on this sub. My PC would not be able to reach the internet. My sub might be able to use it, but it is not very good. The optical cable provided is very short, but it is included in the package. If my speaker is sitting directly on top of my computer, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to reach with this cable. Is that right? I have a solution for you. I would want one optical cable to connect the PC to the speakers rather than three, which would be much longer. A splitter that converts 5mm to 2RCAs for 10 feet. A gold-plated cable connects the speakers to the subwoofer. Below is a link to the one I purchased to clarify the type of item In addition,.

This speaker is outstanding in terms of sound quality
5/5

They are very good in terms of bass, clarity, volume, and Bluetooth support. A final edit Since I have had the speakers for so long, I just want to say how much I appreciate Both my family and I use them to listen to music - I use them for studio recording and my family uses them to listen to music. They can easily connect their phones to Bluetooth so they can use it. The following are also relevant share my thoughts in the review about how well they use the Polk subwoofer, yet they actually produce enough bass so that you do not need it. It would be one of my best purchases of the year to have these speakers. There is no match for the outstanding performance of the Edifier R1850DB bookshelf speakers! The speakers are large enough to provide a good full range sound, while being small enough to fit on a are great for computer speakers and home studios since they can work as nearfield monitors as well. These speakers also work well for home theaters - I found out that I would have never thought of it! There is a long speaker cord included in the package. (The cord, though, has custom connections at each end, so you can't replace it if you need a longer accessory. speaker controls are located on the back, which keeps them looking neat, but are a bit far away from the user. Thanks to the remote control included, you can control the television. I found the buttons on the remote to feel a little cheap but I thought the speakers themselves were quite well made, and the knobs themselves felt solid. Another reviewers recommendation to pair these speakers with a Polk 10 inch subwoofer proved to be right on the money. I am speechless. The music I've listened to my entire life has been instrumental to my happiness - I'm 42 years old It has always bothered me that sounds located in the low frequency range of my favorite music just weren't audible to me. It is absolutely fantastic to pair these speakers My frequency response on these speakers doesn't seem to be flat - I'm not sure how these speakers do. There is no way for me My ears feel good when I listen to them. A good balance of boomy and tinny sounds This is an excellent set of speakers that produces a lot of volume despite.

With these, you will have a perfect understanding
5/5

A 2 had always been my standard. There was one system that cost $100 or more I bought my I-pod for $200 or so and that was fine, but I listen to my iPod so I - Because I enjoy my iTunes collection on my desktop so much, I wanted to Since they were not too big and had good reviews, I picked these up as I'm amateur at this. What a great site This is a really good My problem was the lower frequency - close to 60hz - which was a real challenge In addition, I mostly listen to rock, so what I did was purchase one of those Acoustic Audio 8" subs so that I could set the crossover at 80Hz and it worked great! These don't have to try very hard to target those low frequencies anymore. This system of mine is amazing after I bumped the treble a little bit - dude, it's awesome - I get exactly what you mean! On the front, there is no volume knob, and that is the ONLY disadvantage. In my opinion, the grills on these look much better compared to the default back knob. I alternate between doing the elbow exercise to try and get to the back knob and using the remote to adjust. It was my pleasure to write this and I hope it was helpful.
