Why would it be 7 inches tall if the drivers are 3"? For the xt35, I believe those responses are incorrect. According to the product description, this item is 4 inches tall.
The center speaker is 25mm in diameter, the other six (3 left, 3 right) are 76mm in diameter, and the case is 4 inches in diameter. 25" in height.
It would work, but you'd be paying a premium for the shielding and physical form. I recommend the Polk Monitor 40 Series II, which is significantly less expensive. The controllers are the same. br>(Polk has been known to sell direct on popular auction sites, and may or may not be selling the Monitor 40 Series II new in box as a PAIR for half this price right now.)
4 ohms at 30 watts, according to the user manual - 200 watts, 89 decibels of sensitivity, and a minimum impedance of 4 ohms 77 Hz, 1 ohm Frequency response of 26 kHz, overall frequency response of 55 kHz - 40 kHz with a crossover frequency of 2500 kHz.

I'm looking to improve my 5. I was using a 2 Dolby Atmos surround system when I realized the center channel speaker I was using was 15 years old and was limiting the overall experience. I was on the verge of purchasing the Polk S35 because of the positive feedback he received. However, this model has been around for a long time, and the new Polk monitor XT35 was only released in August, so I took a chance that Polk would maintain its reputation for excellence with the newest release, despite the fact that I couldn't find any reviews. I was, fortunately, correct! Now that I'm older, I've put the XT35 through its paces with 4K Dolby Atmos movies, and it's a resounding success. Then I put them to the test with a wide range of HD music, and they did not disappoint. I'm sure others feel the same way, because Best Buy and Crunchfield both say the speakers are sold out, and Amazon appears to be one of the few places that still has them. The Polk Monitor XT35 comes highly recommended.
We have an 86" television in our two-story living room, as well as simple low-cost furniture. power 5. There is one surround sound system. The Sony 5 is one of our favorites. In 5 channel mode, the 2 receiver puts out 90 watts per channel, so I wasn't expecting a lot of power handling. As a result, I paired this CS1 with Signature S10s (for L/R mains) and MC65s in the wall. High- All of these speakers appear to be well balanced with each other, with the pass crossover set at 130Hz. I also have a 12" 500w powered sub set to 160Hz, so I may experiment with increasing the high-frequency response. 140-passage 150Hz and listen to it at a higher volume. This CS1 is driven without distortion by the Sony at maximum volume. If you have the space/configuration for it to sit under your screen and your power requirements are low (I believe the maximum recommended power is 125w), I personally recommend this center channel.
I'm confident that a more expensive (double this price) model would not deliver significantly better audio quality. br>br>They're a tad louder than my R. I had to lower the volume of the center channel a little because of the L side speakers. br>br>Through this speaker, I prefer the vocals to the instruments when watching a movie.
From a Polk TL2 model, this is an upgrade. The sound and build quality are both excellent. This is the speaker you'll need for a small to medium room.
My listening room is roughly 18'x14'x9' with plenty of power, but it finally occurred to me (finally!). ) I had a problem with my center channel speaker because it was too small. The Polk can handle any amount of power and is extremely adaptable at various listening levels. I could have done better for about twice the price, but the Polk comes out on top.
I needed a proper center channel speaker because I was using a subpar one. I saw this in the Amazon Market as a great condition item and decided to take a chance because it was 50% off. I didn't want to buy a ten-year-old clearance item, but rather a modern Atmos-compatible speaker. I had never purchased a used item before, so I was a little nervous. br>The item arrived in what I would call "gold standard" packaging. Are you curious as to what I'm referring to? They sandwiched the speaker in a box with expandable foam in a bag. Genius. Why isn't this happening more frequently? Amazon has done an excellent job. So, what's the deal with my trepidation about purchasing a returned item? All gone. The item was in PERFECT working order. I got the manual that was supposed to come with it. br>I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and the Polk speaker sounds fantastic with my setup. It's only a 5, and it's for my living room, not my media room. This speaker is only part of one system, but it pumps out a lot of bass. It has a sound system with an open back port. The sound of DTX Neutral X is one of my favorites. Polk is a fantastic speaker. When my 100w woofer started buzzing and the only solution was to use a 50w control board, I turned away from Polk, but I almost forgive them now because this one sounds fantastic.
I purchased the CS 10 center channel at the end of January 2020, and it has been two weeks since I received it. If that were your only and last option, I'd say it could definitely be used to anchor a boat in a storm. However, it has passed all of the tests that I can think of. On the polk center channel, I have a sony avr with well over 125 wats per channel, which is what the specs and ratings call for. It sounds great with no distortion or anything negative to say about it. I'm sorry, but I feel compelled to say something. I have it mounted above a flatscreen, angled downward, and it is securely anchored because one slip and it will take a noise dive towards the television below, and anything else in its path will be gone in a flash. I can't emphasize the weight enough, as well as the fact that it's a well-made piece of equipment. For the price of 120 dollars, I would buy it again. Thanks to Polk and Amazon for making this possible.
I'd been looking for a good-sounding, low-cost center channel for years, and the CS1 was the answer. I began with a "home theater in a box" system, which I replaced several years ago. right with some old Infinity's I had, and after that the old center channel couldn't keep up any longer, and even cranking up the center channel's volume made it difficult to hear dialog in movies. The CS1 has a lot of volume and rich sound, so it's much more balanced (volume and tonal) than the left-hander. right. Other things we watch that appear to output everything to the center now sound richer and more complete. This purchase has made me very happy!.
