The crystal clear dialogue and strong center presence make watching movies a real pleasure. When paired with a pair of Klipsch RF-series headphones, it's a match made in heaven. The 280F reference premier main speakers are the genuine article. It's as if I'm sitting in my living room with a real band. The sub is designed for sonic lows, so the lows aren't as strong as I expected given the massive size of these furniture-grade speakers. If the material calls for subtle lows, the speaker performs as expected as a reference speaker, with no additional bass. Speech is extremely loud, overpowering the main speakers, as it should be when watching a movie. Music, on the other hand, is the polar opposite, with the main speakers clearly dominating the center channel, as they should. These, on the other hand, fill the hollow space between the left and right channels, resulting in stereo sound coming from a panoramic left to right presence rather than extreme left and right. This was a fantastic effect! The sound is all over the place, as if it were a real live event. VERY IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORT These look like tower speakers that are horizontal! MEASURE YOUR PLACEMENT CAREFULLY AS THIS IS A LARGE SPEAKER WITH FEW CABINETS AND STANDS THAT CAN SUPPORT THIS WEIGHT AND SIZE. br>After a lot of searching, I finally found a tempered glass TV stand that perfectly supports this size speaker, to the point where I thought it was made for it. The AVF SDC1140- is available on Amazon. As you can see in my photo, it's a three-tiered stand. The piano cabinet is made of high-quality materials. end, and it's far too nice to risk damaging it by putting a TV or other component on top of it. This risk should be mitigated by the position I recommend.
I used to have an old Yamaha central speaker that I couldn't hear clearly in 5. There is only one surround. To compensate, I always had to switch to 2 or turn on the TV's sound. 1 stereo. I believe my central speaker was underpowered. When it comes to stereo equipment, I'm neither an audiophile nor a "techie. " I'm just trying to figure out whether it sounds good or bad. With these powerful central speakers, I decided to step it up a notch. Don't laugh, but I reasoned that it has four speakers as opposed to three. It's got to be better than the two on my Yamaha, right? I already own a pair of Klipisch front speakers, so I'm sticking with them. br>br>WOW! I'm astounded by how much more powerful and dynamic my 5 has become. This center speaker can be used in one configuration. Finally, I can listen to the dialogue in my movies! This is the best money I've ever spent on home entertainment.
This is a great center speaker, and it's a big step up from our Qef, which is 25 years old. If shear mass and driver quantity impress you, this is the vehicle for you. You'll need a big, sturdy location to store it. br>In terms of sound, the propaganda led me to believe that I would be able to hear clear dialogue once more. No, that is not the case. Although it has vastly improved, we continue to use subtitles on a regular basis. Despite its enormous size and expense, it is only about 30-minutes away. 40 improvement over the old single speaker Qef We decided to keep it because we have the space and I had already purchased the monster. br>As a test, we invited our two twentysomething sons to come in and listen. They acknowledged that they, too, had difficulty with dialogue. One begins to suspect that our aging ears aren't the source of the difficulty in hearing spoken words. Perhaps the sound track has been compressed so much by online services that the fidelity is terrible, and no speaker will be able to fix it. So there you have it; I've already given away 300 DVDs.
To achieve audiophile-level sound, the system must be tuned and the room treated, just like any other audio system. It's the same here. I looked at about a half-dozen other speaker systems before settling on these. At this price point, I couldn't think of anything else. The biggest issue is that now that I've got these all set up, I can hear the flaws in the other sound systems I own. Even when used in conjunction with the RP 504C, the RP 504C can handle the rigors of a center channel. Surrounds at 8000 degrees Fahrenheit.
440C. The 440C was in perfect working order; I simply desired a larger center presence when I set up my new theater room. I'm very pleased with my purchase; the central dialogue and action are now more substantial; sure, it could be a placebo, but I'm taking the pill and sticking to my ear's belief. br>br>Sound is Klipsch's excellent standard, and it works well with the Klipsch RP-series front, side, and surround speakers. In my room, the temperature is around 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Several times the size of the R- It is 52C that is being replaced. It has a much crisper sound. Between the reference and reference premiere, there is a stylistic difference. On the reference, I like the gold screws, but the wood finish on the premiere is much nicer. It's much more substantial, weighing in at around 50 pounds. This is ideal for film. Home theaters necessitate a well-equipped center. *Banana connectors are accepted by Klipsch speakers. The cap must be removed, as shown in the image. I've read a couple of reviews on other speakers that claim it doesn't work. It would be helpful if they included this information in the instructions.
The sound clarity is incredible. As I concentrate, I can clearly hear each instrument; they are not muddled. Movie dialogue is crystal clear, and I no longer miss a word. The new trim on the inside of the horn and around the woofers has given it enough "wife points" that I can leave the grille off all the time.
I can't believe it took me so long to upgrade my home speakers to real speakers. This middle channel has a great sound. It really helps to round out the surround sound experience that I was missing before. My man cave movie night has just gotten a whole lot better.
