Although there are minor differences in what people say the measurements are, the measurements are nearly identical to the dimensions listed on Amazon. Klipsch is responsible for those dimensions. Only the order in which it is listed differs. Klipsch says: The dimensions are 5 x 26 x 5 inches. Amazon lists the measurement as 7 inches. The depth is the first measurement, and the length or width is the second, depending on how you want to refer to the front. The height is the final measurement. Using my metal square, which is extremely accurate, I find those measurements to be accurate enough, implying a difference of about 1/16 of an inch. br>To put it another way, Amazon has the right numbers, and they aren't absurd. They're what they're made to be. Without knowing anything about your mantel, my first thought would be that it would be difficult to put on a mantel based on mantels I've seen that aren't very deep. Also, if you turn up the volume, the back of your head shouldn't be too close to a surface. It should have at least a couple of inches of clearance to allow the air pressure to dissipate.
I suppose you could, but a Klipsch RP-100 might be a better option. Instead, heat to 450°F. The RP- The drivers for the 450C are a total of five. Instead of the 4" ones in the RP-II, I went with a 25" one. 440C. It should provide you with a bit more mid-range power. punch from a distance
I can't say whether the center speaker cabinet could withstand 80 pounds on any given spot on top of the speaker without knowing the inner construction. However, I believe it would work if you put a plywood sheet on top of it to help distribute the weight. Weight distribution may also vary depending on how your TV's footing is set up. Is it possible to wall-mount the TV?
If you have the space, a third speaker to complement your left and right main speakers would be preferable to placing a center speaker designed to sit horizontally in a vertical position.

NOW. I upgraded from a previous (note: previous) computer. Andrew Jones Pioneer center channel (cheap). I replaced my Pioneer front towers with Klipsch R-80s about a year ago. To give it a little more "oomph," set the temperature to 28 degrees Fahrenheit. It sounded good in stereo for music, but it didn't sound right for movies, TV, and other media. OH MY GOD, what a difference this speaker has made! I got it at the same time as I got the RP- (For the back) 160M bookshelf speakers br>br>The bass on this speaker is actually quite good! There is significantly more output across the spectrum, in addition to how nice the copper woofers look moving in parallel. Movies have a completely different sound to them! br>br>I got this for less than MSRP because I bought it used. Despite the fact that it was said to have some "minor" flaws, I couldn't find anything wrong with it. It was even packaged as if it were going to be sold in a store.
I've been a Klipsch fan for a long time, and this center channel speaker is just as good as or better than the others I've had. This is a LARGE speaker. It will not be able to be mounted on a wall. It's designed to sit atop a cabinet. If you plan on listening to music at a high volume, don't put anything on top of it. It's possible that things will sway a little. The sound quality is excellent. br>br> The higher frequencies sound best, as is typical of Klipsch speakers, and some people complain that Klipsch speakers sound "tinny. " And I've heard of systems that operate in this manner. However, this is only because the owner hasn't adjusted the equalizer or corrected cross-talk. It's hard to believe it was ever opened before me when I received "Very Good" from IQ Home Entertainment. Any authorized Klipsch dealer appears to go to great lengths to ensure that even "used" products have a premium feel to them. I almost went for a much less expensive center, but I'm glad I didn't. This one is fantastic, and it's easy to overlook how important the center channel is for your audio. Even when cranked up to maximum volume, there is never a crackle. Because Klipsch is a well-known brand, I won't focus on sound quality in this review. This was the focal point of my first home theater, which had a five-seat configuration. Every time I turn on my two Klipsch brand Dolby Atmos setup, I'm constantly blown away. These speakers should last a lifetime due to their high build quality and attractive finish, which includes a magnetic mesh front cover as an option. The weight of these speakers (very heavy!) says a lot about their quality. From now on, these will be the standards against which I will measure all systems. Klipsch has gained a new customer for life.

The center speaker in a surround sound setup, according to most sound experts, is the most important. Klipsch speakers have a high sensitivity (efficiency) combined with the clarity of a horn tweeter, which is why many movie theaters use them for their sound systems. My front speakers are Klipsch rp280f, and this center channel blends in nicely with them. If you have a problem with voice clarity while watching movies, this speaker (or any Klipsch center, for that matter) will quickly solve your problem.
Over the last few years, I've been gradually converting my 7. From Paradigm to Klipsch, there is only one system to choose from. Last but not least, the center channel. I went with the RP- For the four mid-ranges and the price point, 440C is the best option. It definitely fulfills its promise. The voices are crisp and clear. The amount of bass produced by the speaker astounded me. In 5 channel stereo mode, it sounds even better. I'm using a Denon X1300W to power it.
I was also looking for a TV stand console to fit the center channel, and I discovered that the WE Furniture fit perfectly; it has a great look, and I highly recommend it.
After listening to my setup for a while and feeling like something was missing in the middle of the vocals, I did some research and discovered that simply upgrading your center channel can improve your H/T experience by adding more enhanced vocals, so I decided to replace my center channel. I used to have a Klipsch R-100 in my car. Don't get me wrong, the 25C was a good speaker, but now that I've replaced it with the RP-X, it's a lot better. 440C I was blown away by the clarity and sound dispersion of this speaker; my movies and music suddenly came to life, and I'm glad I made the switch. Other center channel speakers on the market are twice as expensive as this one, but I don't believe you need to spend $1,000 on a center channel speaker to get superior sound.
After hearing it, I bought an R34c. This rp440c was on my order. The difference in sound has completely blown me away. GET THIS SPEAKER RIGHT NOW. Please keep in mind that I am not an audiophile; I simply enjoy listening to music and watching movies with decent sound.
