I was quite surprised by how well made this little radio was. At first I did not particularly like the carry handle, but was able to come to appreciate it after using it for some time. I like the quality of the buttons, I find the display to be easy to interpret, and I find the system reasonably intuitive. It is typical for this price point to include a moisture resistant flap over the USB and micro connectors. A nice feature of the triangular shape is the large bottom that holds the battery pack, allowing for a low center of gravity, as opposed to rectangular designs, which may cause the radio to topple over. On the bottom of the radio are little nubs that act as insulation against heat, moisture, and some forms of The triangular shape of the solar panel also allows it to face slightly upward in the direction of the sun when the radio is placed on a window sill. An engineer with a bright idea could design a fractal antenna that does not have to be deployed like these pitiful telescoping models do. Make sure you do your homework on how antennae work, and be gentle with them! Keeping it clean is important. There is a lot of light reflected from the display due to its shiny surface. It is prone to finger prints and smudging, but at this price point, it is probably asking a lot of this device. Despite the LED lights being adequate, they are barely effective. It would benefit from an upgrade if the LEDs available today were of high quality. I would say that the output is fine for nominal purposes, like searching in the dark for something similar. This will not light up a camp site or a room, but it will not drain the battery. The good news is that it is easy to use and does not use much power. The overall experience with this radio was very positive. Providing a proper purpose and being thoughtfully designed, it excels in its role.

The weather has a big impact on my work schedule since I work in construction. On my previous CB radio, I had a weather band, but I don't have one now. When I get the forecast each evening for the next day and then double check each morning, I find the weather band to be particularly useful. It is very possible to receive quality radio on the radio, but it cannot be considered exceptional. However, the speaker on the radio is fairly small, so it does not produce much sound. Despite these disadvantages, the radio is quite valuable to me for my job (because it has a built-in flashlight too). like the fact that the radio can be recharged in a variety of ways and can even charge another device at the same time.

This crank radio replaced the old one I had because I live in California, and I wanted to be prepared for a natural disaster (which seems to happen quite often here). Is the perfect size and has a nice sound, as well as solar power that charges easily, even in low Whenever I need to charge my phone, it can plug into my phone's charger. I like that it has digital tuning and I can select Weather from AM/FM. I added this to my emergency kit and couldn't be happier.

After experiencing an unexpected prolonged power outage, which made me realize I wasn't prepared at all, I bought this. The only flash light I had was my phone, and I did not have a charger for my phone. Due to the fact that I work remotely I could not work, so I had to take a vacation. As well as listening to music, I was unable to watch television. There is no need for me to buy anything else. All the phones in my home are charged and I have a radio with great sound, a flashlight that works well, and an excellent flashlight As a result, the solar panel is used. In the meantime, I am listening to the radio on the window sill while it charges. As a result, I take it everywhere I go since I can listen to the radio without the need for an internet connection. It is a joy to have an excellent classical station and a great jazz station available to tune in on this radio. My peace of mind is further heightened by the additional two backup phone chargers that I purchased.

Having a phone charger in the car allows us to stay connected in case of Battery life on this radio is very good, and it is great that it has five power sources. In an emergency, that will be great because it will guarantee it will never run out of electricity! The radio is better than anything I could have hoped for when it was introduced to me. That's exactly how I feel about.

Although the sound is garbled even after a full charge, it still cannot be heard clearly. It did not come with a charger, so I used one from an old phone I had on hand. It seems that the speaker has a major malfunction, something terrible is going on. I got a new radio since it was just too difficult to send this one back. Neither I nor anyone else would recommend this radio. The money I had just thrown away was thrown away.

It is amazing quality and very well built. It is a solid investment that will bring you years of enjoyment. There is no reason to be hesitant about recommending this emergency radio.
