All of the car's systems crash at random! This product is being used to enable wireless Apple Carplay in a 2019 Volvo XC90. At first, I liked it a lot - All features (control through steering wheel buttons, etc. ) worked, and the setup was seamless. But then something went wrong. br>br> It begins with the system failing to respond or music playing in a gap every few seconds. br>br>If the unit simply rebooted, I'd be fine with it. However, it resulted in the car's complete reboot! All of the car's systems essentially restarted (cruise disconnected, a/c switched off, center touchscreen went blank) in the middle of the highway (75mph). Thankfully, the Volvo's drive system (clearly) operates on a fail-safe system, and the car continued to run, but it was frightening - It's happened a couple of times since then. br>br>I don't see how a USB accessory could cause a car's entire system to crash, especially since the function it's emulating (Apple Carplay) has never done so. Is your coding a disaster? Is there a problem with the equipment? Access to the car's critical systems that isn't disclosed or authorized? I'm not sure what I'm saying. br>br>In any case, it's no longer something I feel comfortable using, which is a shame. As long as it didn't crash everything, I thought it was great!.

When I bought this device, I was pretty sure I was wasting $100 because there were no reviews, I'd never heard of the company, and I couldn't find anything online (which is why I'm writing this review right now). br>br>I plugged the device into the CarPlay port in my 2020 Honda CRV as soon as I got it, and the rest was magic. It informed me that the connection had been established right away. All I had to do was choose the appropriate device from my Bluetooth list (on my phone, not in the car), and wireless CarPlay was up and running in less than 60 seconds from the time I plugged it in. br>br>While I still need to do some more testing, this isn't without its drawbacks. I've had several people tell me that there is a delay if you talk on the phone frequently while driving. On a conference call, I even had one person believe I was deliberately trying to talk over them (before I realized there was a delay). br>br>I haven't tried any other similar devices, so I don't have anything to compare it to in terms of performance, but I'm pleased with my purchase so far. I'll update my review if I encounter any other issues besides the call delay, which hopefully will be resolved in a future software update.

I bought it to go with my new Honda CR-V, which will be released in 2021. V Touring is a type of touring. It works perfectly and can handle multiple phones and users. I've set up both my phone and my wife's phone and am able to use them without any problems; it's great not to have to deal with wires, especially now that my car has wireless charging capability. br>br>It takes a few seconds (up to 30 seconds) for the computer to start up. The Apple CarPlay screen appears immediately after boot if configured for a single phone. When more than one phone is configured, a screen displaying the configured phones appears, allowing the user to select the phone for CarPlay via the touch screen. The device then dials the phone number you specify. Overall, this item has performed admirably and has exceeded my expectations. I recommend this to those who want/need to convert their USB Apple CarPlay to be wireless, because the sound quality is good and I've had no connection issues so far.

Buy it anyway. It is developing a Lexus GX for the year 2022.
PROS: It's plug-and-play, and it's very simple to pair for the first time, and its small size makes it easy to hide. Once the car is turned on, a quick connection (15 seconds */-) is established. There appears to be a lag in the audio of phone calls. less.
CONS: It will occasionally (rarely) get stuck in the initial screen and require you to unplug and replug it in order to connect to the phone, there is a small delay (very minor) between pressing a button on the steering wheel or head unit and receiving a response, and you can occasionally hear a small skip/scratch in the music.
TBD: Are you having issues with your phone's battery? Stability on a long journey? br>Some of this could be due to the car rather than the unit. Overall, I think it's a good choice.

Because it was constantly crashing, I gave this product a poor rating at first. I recently updated the firmware and haven't had any crashes in three weeks of driving. I only noticed it hiccup when my internet signal was weak. Apple Maps, my media streaming app, became unresponsive as a result of this. The unit needed to be unplugged and reset. When you have two phones paired to the device, it seems to favor the last phone connected, which can be annoying. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the initial experience of crashing before the firmware upgrade, the instability when the internet signal cut out, and the connection annoyance; I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the initial experience of crashing before the firmware upgrade, the instability when the internet signal cut out, and the connection annoyance. Aside from that, I think it's a good buy. I like that I don't have to plug in my phone and that carplay is available.

I'm quite pleased with this little gadget. I was skeptical at first, but in my 2016 Kia Soul, it performs as expected. Unlike another reviewer, I have experienced no delays in my calls. br>br>The only drawback I can think of is that when I get in the car, it takes a few minutes for my iPhone to sync. Patience is rewarded in this situation.
