I bought a 2016 C300 that was previously owned. There was no navigation package available. I bought it and installed it in my SD card reader. I started the navigation system in the car, and it was up and running in a matter of minutes.
I was worried that the SD card in my 2018 Mercedes GLC 300 wouldn't work. It is critical that you are aware of your vehicle's production date. When you go to DataMB, you can find out when your car was built. After that, go to com and type in your Mercedes VIN. Because my house was built before July 2017, I had to order a card for that year. I got the SD card and put it into my computer. After starting the car, I chose NAV. The SD card was detected, and a message appeared on the screen asking if I intended to use it only in this vehicle. When I said yes, the installation was completed. It has been working flawlessly for the past two months.
I recently purchased a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 coupe that came equipped with navigation but no disk. I ordered this disk after inquiring directly with VMZE about the possibility of returning it if it didn't work. They had come to an understanding. I got the disk, it didn't work, and I'm having trouble getting a refund after returning it. It doesn't make for a good first impression.
For the 2016 C300, this is the perfect accessory. Within 60 seconds, the card was inserted, activated by clicking yes, and the maps were operational. DOWNTOWN MOTORS, the seller, deserves a big pat on the back. They double-checked my VIN for compatibility and pointed me in the right direction for the SD card I needed. It is strongly suggested.
My Mercedes C300 was recently traded in for a more recent CPO model. I politely declined the dealer's charge of $840 for the SD card for navigation. I came across this one and decided it was worth taking a chance on, so I ordered it and it arrived the next day. I inserted it into the SD card slot, started the car, and after about a 2-minute drive, it was ready. I was asked if this card should be paired with this car after a minute of loading time. "Yes" was my answer, and that was the end of it. It had been turned on and was ready to use. Thank you so much for helping me save over $700. I would strongly suggest it.
The date of manufacture for the 2018 C300W was August 17th. This is the third time I've attempted it. Other vendors kept telling me that I needed eight. There were two versions, but neither of them worked. This one works perfectly, and I'll keep you updated if it stops working.
When I inserted the second try, I felt like a disappointed child at Christmas!.
My wife paid $22,000 for this used Mercedes C300 (2016) AWD with 13K miles, but it didn't come with navigation. The car now has Navigation after installing this and following the easy installation guide. Mercedes makes it difficult to use, but if you learn to talk instead of fiddling with the control knob, you'll get used to it. It's a lot easier to recognize people by their voices. When you get close to the exits, this gives you good directions with lane highlights. The only annoyance is that this car's screen is not touchscreen. But for a few dollars, I can't say no. There are no unsightly wires protruding from the windshield.
