This is for Fords from a specific year and model. Unless you want to trade in your A3 for a Ford pickup truck:
I have no idea. I bought this for my 2015 Expedition. We found it to be ideal.
I've never had a job that was as good as that, and I've never had a voice that was as bad as that.
I believe the 2017 Ford F150 was equipped with SYNC3 and did not come with SD maps.

I looked on Amazon and found what appeared to be the same Update SD card, but it was marked as OEM. At a third of the cost, I decided to give it a try. All I had to do was swap out my car's SD Map card for this one (which was incredibly simple) and WOW! Everything works as it should, my saved locations are still accessible, and I can now navigate using 2019 map data rather than 2014. It was an excellent purchase.
The exact same product that you can get for $149 from Ford.
Instead of spending upwards of $150 for the Ford authorized sd card, I decided to take a chance on this card, and I was not disappointed. br>After a few glitches in which the card had to be reinserted and reread, it settled down after a day of use and now appears to work flawlessly. br>However, we rely on Google Maps to get around. All of the automakers' proprietary mapping systems are simply not up to the task.
Great map card! I used my A5 card and popped it into the A10 and it worked perfectly. So good that I used it to gps my brother's address today in the backwoods and cotton of Thrall, TX, and it was dead on accurate, with the balloon landing right on his mailbox. His county road was not even shown on the A5 card. Thank you a lot.
The navigation system appeared to be working properly after it had loaded. When I tried to enter a destination and hit "go," however, the program returned to the maps page, and I was never able to get it to plot a course and begin navigation to the desired location. The seller agreed to replace the item and authorized a return, which I completed at Whole Foods. The replacement item has yet to be delivered.
It's been two months since I installed this card, and it's still working flawlessly in my 2012 Ford Explorer. I simply took out the old one (an A4) and replaced it with this one, and everything worked flawlessly. I wasn't required to perform any updates, but I've always kept the Sync software up to date. This gets a perfect 5-star rating from me. I gave it a five-star rating because it was exactly what the description said it was, it worked flawlessly, and I had no problems with it.
I had a local Ford dealer upgrade the internal software and install the chip because the chip was "funky" almost from the beginning. Only worked a portion of the time - To get it to work, you'd have to repeatedly push the chip into and out of the port. Finally, I gave up and returned it to the dealership, where it was determined that the chip was defective after several days of work. Since being replaced with a genuine Ford A10 chip ($160), it has worked flawlessly. The dealer unfortunately discarded the faulty card, but I do have the receipt if you want to look at it. Thank you for taking the time to pay attention.
A- has been replaced. The navigation system worked again after replacing the 6 sd card with an A10 sd card, and I saved more than $100 by purchasing it here rather than through Ford.
