  The main reason for the purchase was the ability to use CarPlay with an IOS device, which was the main reason for the purchase because getting a product like this 10" screen with the CarPlay feature for under $200 is unheard of. CarPlay is a wireless car stereo system that is very simple to set up. I was blown away by how well it was put together, especially the screen's responsiveness. This is a unit that I would strongly recommend.

This radio has a large screen, which is the last of the positive features I can mention. The touchscreen isn’t responsive, the volume is irritating, the unit doesn’t remember the volume you last set it at, 50% of the time the volume buttons don’t work.

The ten-inch version is the one I have. There is a lot of glare on the screen. Because of the non-standard mounting, it can be difficult to complete. The screen is not removable and has a standard design. However, it is a 10-inch screen that appears to be in good condition. I'm not a fan of the built-in Android Auto emulator, but I downloaded Head Unit Reloaded and it's a lot better. I'm not a fan of the default home launcher, either. Except for the stock FM tuner, the widget on the home screen does not work. I was able to easily customize the wallpaper using Nova Launcher to fix this. None of the other launchers I tried worked because pressing the back button in the Bluetooth or FM apps brought me back to the stock launcher, which was inconvenient. In terms of performance, it's merely adequate. It can take a long time to open certain apps, such as Youtube Music or Google Maps. It'll get there eventually, but it'll take a long time. When using Google Maps in pop-up mode, go to the app settings and disable picture-in-picture for that app. Apps that split the screen work well. When it first starts up, it takes a long time to connect to the internet. If you're using it for Android Auto, it'll perform admirably. I use HUR and set the screen resolution to 720 to make the most of the big screen. There aren't many cheaper ways to get Android Auto, let alone on a screen this big, and the audio quality was surprisingly good. I'm happy with my purchase overall because I enjoy tinkering. If you don't, you might be content with it, but there were far too many nagging issues that I felt compelled to address. Because of the slow performance, I believe I would have returned it if I wasn't using it for Android Auto most of the time. *Update* I've decided that I'll have to return this head unit. All that is required of a car stereo is for it to function reliably. I had to reconnect Android Auto a lot of times and the screen brightness kept going to 100% on its own and even on its lowest brightness it is too bright it is too% When the backup camera's image is washed out, this is what the screen looks like. I'll spend my money on a well-known brand with a 7" screen, such as Kenwood or Pioneerbr>.

I purchased a radio similar to this on eBay about two months ago, but it was not working. So I decided to give it another shot and purchase this binize, which has all of the functions I need. Simply put, if you want an Android radio that actually works, you must purchase this one from Amazon; the one on eBay is not available. This product has made me very happy.

First and foremost, for the price, I was blown away by the screen quality and sound, and I give it five stars for that. However, I purchased the model with the 10 inch display, and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose the 7 inch model. The 10 inch fit perfectly (and looks great) in the double din opening, but it overlaps the top air vents by about an eighth of an inch. It's just enough to keep the vents from becoming obstructed. The radio mounting screws are encroached upon by the air vents. (THE CATCH 22) In order to get the vents in, I had to loosen the rail screws on the din kit and slide the screen forward. It was a struggle to tighten the rail screws back up from the bottom. I'm not sure if the extra screen real estate was worth it. br>br> The other issue I had was with the steering wheel audio controls. The current must have been supplied by the CRY factory radio via the resistive network of buttons. As a result, I needed to devise a way to provide the voltage that the Binize unit required. I used a 1K resistor and a cheap 5vdc regulator. The resistor was crossed by the key 1 and key 2 leads. I grounded the brown CRV wire and connected the orange wire to a 1K resistor - bringing the circuit to a 5 volt DC regulator There may have been a better way, but I was concerned that using the unregulated 12vdc battery's voltage would cause the steering wheel buttons to produce unexpected or variable voltages. br>br>I bought a backup camera, a double DIN radio installation kit, a CRV wiring harness with antenna adaptor, and low melting point solder connectors to complete the installation.

This device has a lot more features (apps) and programs than a typical car multimedia device. You can also add more apps in the future. For the money, it's a good deal. I haven't figured out all of the features yet, but I'm learning as I go through the Facebook group for business owners. Because the installation instructions that came with the device were not very helpful, I had a few issues and questions during the installation. However, there are numerous online resources (YouTube and Facebook) where you can find answers to all of your questions. Customer service is quick to respond, tries to assist, and clearly wants you to be satisfied with your purchase.

Nothing works exactly as it should right out of the box. The Bluetooth connection only works half of the time, the wifi doesn't work at all, and the screen touch sensitivity is HORRIBLE. Half of your touches go unnoticed by it. It's extremely clumsy and unreliable. Spend your money on something that actually works rather than something that just looks cool.
