This unit is a single din, but the cx9 is a double din, so there's plenty of space. You'll need a wiring adapter, and you'll have to do the final fit and adjustments, but it's technically possible. Yes, it is possible.

3500 Dodge Ram I debated whether or not to get it because I wanted knobs, but I went ahead and bought it. br>br>Notes that may be of assistance: Purchase a wiring harness for your vehicle, as well as a single din kit if necessary. When you do the wiring inside the house, it's a lot easier to install. br>br>Because these don't come with a single din shield to keep the unit in place, I had to purchase one separately. The installation of the stereo after the dash bezel had been installed was my issue. To fill the gap, I used the kit with two flushed-out plastic mounting brackets. I was able to simply pop the unit in place just past the two screws holding the brackets in place. Do not press down on the screen directly. One side first, then the other. Simply slide the screw heads over. It's as simple as that. br>br>The device is easy to use and has a lot of features. Wallpaper, UI, audio, and Bluetooth are just a few of the features available. I'm sure there are more, but I didn't want to go any further because all I wanted was music in my truck. I'm going to add a microphone to the phone and pair it up as soon as possible. Later, I'll add the cameras as a backdrop. Customer service is actually quite good. br>br> They will respond to you via messenger. It might not happen right away, but it only took a couple of hours for me to get my questions answered and have a conversation. It was as if it were my turn at the wheel. I am blown away! If you want a larger screen than the standard 7-inch stereo, I recommend this 10-inch stereo. There's plenty of space to slide this in. Overall, I am pleased with the unit. br>br>The GPS is very quick. br>br> In a few months, I'll provide an update. It's only been a week since I got it.
It could be better, but that would result in a higher price tag. I installed this without a harness and disassembled the single din housing to mount the screen on a 1997 Harley-Davidson fairing, ran the tape to the screen through the single din opening in the fairing, and mounted the radio's "guts" inside. I was not gentle with this thing and have left it sitting in the rain with no issues. That'd be fantastic! "Dang, that's a touchscreen double din!" you'll hear as I pass them at 55 mph with my beard parted down the middle flapping in the wind like a dagamn David Mann painting. "Just look over at them in slow motion, do the cool guy nod and smile, then twist that throttle hard-core style thow up the peace sign and look like the jivest turkey this side of the Mississippi!".
It's also very simple to set up. br>br>.
It's possible that you'll have to cut and modify a stereo kit to make it fit, but you'll get the best value for your money. So far, everything has gone well; hopefully, this will continue.
I haven't yet set it up. I can tell it's an older product because half of the wires aren't labeled at all. Some of the wires have words like key1 and key2 written on them. There's another wire that plugs into the readio but has nothing on it, so I'm not sure what to do with it. There was also an extra wire slot that I did not receive. I'll update once I've determined which wires go where. The backup camfa wires aren't working. There is no amp off for your systems, so you had to use a toggle switch, and there is only one sub wire to connect your ampbr>br>It's hooked up, but I wanted to be able to have Netflix or Hulu on for the kids while we're out, and you can't download or stream them from the internet. br>br>It's hooked up, but I wanted to be able to have Netflix or Hulu on for the kids while we.
To begin, I rate this headunit a perfect five stars. The screen is enormous; it is fantastic. Okay, that's taken care of. Let's talk about installation for a moment. br>br> It does not come with a typical dash kit frame on which you bend the "tabs" to lock it in place. Also, because the screen does not detach, any aftermarket dash kits that require screws to hold it in place are unlikely to work. As a result, be prepared to think outside the box when it comes to how you'll put it together. br>br>I was able to screw the headunit into my dashkit, but mine has four corner screws to keep it in place. I was fortunate in that my radio bezel, which surrounds the dash kit, holds everything in place as if it were bolted. br>br>This is in no way a criticism of the product; simply plan ahead of time how you will overcome some of these obstacles.
Not only is it excellent in its price range, but it is also excellent in a much higher range. The screen is highly responsive, and apps load quickly and smoothly after being installed and started. Simply put, this is a fantastic unit. br>br> Oops, I guess I spoke too soon about how the only thing it does quickly is boot; everything else is much slower, including wi-fi. Wi-Fi reception is poor and easily loses connection, while Bluetooth reception can be spotty, necessitating a restart to get the connection to do more than connect for audio. For wi-fi, there is no need for an external antenna. The main issue is most likely fi.
As of right now, the radio is working perfectly. I got it yesterday and put it in the same day. Outstanding customer service! br>Warning: The following information is for informational purposes only. There are no installation instructions, but it is simple to put together and only requires minor adjustments to mount.
