I was hesitant to buy it at first because of some of the other reviews, but now I see that their issues could have been caused by improper installation of the unit (badly connected wires would burn out even a Pioneer). Before you begin, I recommend reading the installation instructions thoroughly and purchasing a new wiring harness for your vehicle that includes a color code guide. I also strongly advise you to disconnect the battery before tinkering with the wiring or plugging in the unit; otherwise, you risk damaging it. Now, let me tell you about my first impressions of it. It's fantastic, and I adore it. I spent a long time looking for something that was both affordable and provided all of the amenities of a much more expensive (400-plus) hotel. A Pioneer, Kenwood, or even JVC unit (costing around $700) is a good example. Here's a list of things I thought were important to include in my review to make it easier to read. In addition, I finished the installation on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, using the Metra 95-volt power supply. The 6522B kit is a double DIN version of the 6522. SOUND QUALITY: BR>BR>SOUND QUALITY: BR>BR>SOUND QUALITY: BR>BR>SOUND QUAL The built-in equalizer isn't great, but if you have Spotify, you can set the stereo equalizer to Natural or Flat and then turn on the Spotify equalizer, and the sound is fantastic. The difference was like night and day once my wife showed me that I was capable of doing so. I should also mention that my truck now has a brand new set of Boss speakers, but no subwoofer. setup with woofers br>br>QUALITY OF THE DISPLAY AND TOUCHSCREEN: It's a huge improvement over the touchscreen stereo I had in my truck before. It's almost as if the stereo has an Android tablet built in. The text on Google Maps is crisp and clear. I can even comfortably read my email or a pdf document. The touchscreen is extremely responsive and does not require a lot of pressure to operate. br>br>THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO: br>br>THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO: br During my lunch breaks, I frequently use this to watch YouTube or Hulu, and it works just like a small laptop or tablet. br>br>ACCURATENESS OF GPS: The GPS antenna is excellent, precise, and position updates are almost instantaneous. My wife and I usually use Google Maps to load the directions and start the navigation after turning on the mobile hot spot in our phones to connect the stereo to the internet. Even if you don't have access to the internet, you can use the map and GPS to navigate yourself, which we've done once or twice while stuck in the woods. WI-br>br>WI-br>WI-br>WI-br>WI-br>WI CONNECTION WITH THE INTERNET OF THINGS (Wi-Fi): I'm able to connect to the Internet without difficulty. We can use the Wi-Fi signal in the driveway near our house to download updates and other things. Although, most of the time, I simply turn on the hot spot on my phone, and the connection is quick and stable. BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: This unit has never failed to connect to my Android phone or my wife's iPhone; it's simple to set up and modify connections, and it connects right away. I used to have problems with my old stereo's Bluetooth connection dropping/disconnecting and then reconnecting, but I haven't had any issues with this one. OTHER: br>br>OTHER: OTHER: OTHER: OTHER: OTHER: OTHER: OTHER As a result, you can purchase additional accessories to use with this stereo. Backup camera, front-facing camera, OBDII Bluetooth reader, and, in my case, an Amplified Data Interface to keep the stereo turned on until the cab doors are opened. I'd like to put all of these things in place at some point. br>br>SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER: They provide excellent customer service; I received a complete response in less than 24 hours. They responded within 48 hours and even sent me links to additional components that I might require for my specific installation. I'm not sure why they've received some negative feedback for their customer service or helpfulness; they genuinely appear to want to help you. OVERALL RECOMMENDATION: br>br>OVERALL RECOMMENDATION: br>br>OVERALL RECOMMENDATION: After using this unit extensively for the past month and a half, I can confidently recommend it for purchase. If you have a used or older vehicle that you love but don't want to spend $700 on a new stereo but still want all of the features of a newer stereo, this unit is ideal. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and if this one fails me in the future, I'll return and purchase another. Also, this stereo will work with the Metra dash kit for the 2002-2003 model years. You'll just need to cut out a little more plastic on the inside of the dash on a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 to get the unit to slide back all the way.

The majority of the time, this head unit is fantastic. It's difficult to find fault with anything for the price you pay. br>br>However, I do have a few concerns:br>br>1. The WiFi adapter is extremely ineffective. slow.
2. The EastConnection serves no purpose at all. On the head unit, it simply displays the screen of your phone. There's no point.
3. There aren't a lot of apps that work with it. It would be nice if this device could run more apps. br>br>For the price, the head unit is pretty darn good; I'll update my review after some more time with it. EDITED ON 03/08/2019: When I was in my driveway, I was watching YouTube videos. The entire unit froze, and the YouTube screen I was watching is still frozen when I start my truck. In essence, I now have a brick in my dashboard. All of my apps were up to date (which took a long time), and I wasn't abusing it in any way. When things like this happen, I'm sorry, but I can't give this unit a good review.

Installed, but there is a problem with the GPS. It turned off on its own while navigating, but the radio continued to play. The app (Google Maps) shuts down on its own, and the device returns to its original location. I installed another offline GPS app but have yet to use it. In the coming days, I will provide an update. br>THE 9TH OF MAY HAS BEEN UPDATED. Tom tom GPS is the best app to use. It functions flawlessly, and the radio handles it with ease. There is no need for the Internet in this case. So far, the radio has been excellent. br>THE 11TH OF MAY HAS BEEN UPDATED. The radio is an excellent medium. Google Maps was solved thanks to customer service. Everything is in working order. Now that I have two GPS apps installed, I can choose which one I want.

REVIEW UPDATED ON 9/3/2018 br>br>Collaborating with ATOTO engineers to resolve previously mentioned issues. Customer service has been extremely helpful so far, even on weekends. There are still a few minor issues, but I believe that some of them will be resolved with a software update, which ATOTO is known for releasing on a regular basis.
