Questions & Answers
Hello, I believe you have received the incorrect item. What you need to do is figure out what the B10 chip is compatible with.
I'm not sure if it'll fit in a 2013 MKX. My 2015 Ford Edge is in excellent condition. It includes all of the most recent updates. Every year, I will provide an update.
Do you have an SD card that can be easily removed so that the new card can be inserted?
It didn't work for me this year. I had to give it back to them.

My 2013 Ford Fusion did not recognize the SD card after I installed it, despite the fact that the advertisement claims that it will work for my year, make, and model. As a result, I'll send it back.
The navigation SD card in my 2014 Ford Fusion was not up to date. I was getting ready to go on a road trip and needed some information on new roads in the area. I decided to purchase this SD card because of the price difference from the dealership; I removed the old card and replaced it (10 second job), and everything worked perfectly! All of my favorite destinations were still visible, and I tested the new card's functionality by selecting various destinations; it recognized all of them and performed admirably. I'll be traveling this weekend and will have the opportunity to test the new SD card (A11) in real-world situations; if I run into any issues, I'll update this review. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. We just got back from our trip, and the Navigation Card was fantastic! New roads were being built, and they were already visible on the screen (indicating that they were in the process of being built). My purchase was a great success!.
This is the 2020 annual update of the maps for specified Ford vehicles, and it appears to be identical to the SD Card sold by Ford dealers for nearly twice the price. br>br>The vehicle owner's manual shows where the old SD Card should be replaced, which is most likely in the console between the driver and passenger seats. It only takes a few seconds and requires no special equipment or training.
The card functioned as expected and is the advertised revision. In my 2016 Ford Fusion, I have one of these.
When it splits to the actual road vs. the map, I can now see highways that were previously hidden, and I now have color even where I didn't have it on the map. Another feature I enjoy about this update is the ease with which I can begin my destination trip after entering the address. It's a lot easier to start and stop the directions now. Another benefit I discovered is that my car now reads text messages when I connect my phone! This is fantastic. So I can text and my car will read what the other person writes back to me.
When I plugged in the new map update, the vehicle's navigation system prompted me to insert a valid SD Card. I reloaded the old one and everything worked fine. I also verified that the vehicle's navigation system was running the most recent software. I've requested a replacement, and once it arrives and functions properly, I'll update my rating. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. The new SD card arrived quickly, and everything worked as expected once it was plugged into the vehicle's navigation system. When you enter an address, a route is plotted and completed quickly. I would have given it five stars if it hadn't been for the fact that the first one had arrived dead on arrival.
This card was purchased to replace a low-cost a8 card. Because there was no ford packaging included, I believe it is a copy of the real card rather than a genuine Ford card. I put it in a card reader and made an img of it, just like the a8 card, as a backup in case the sd card fails prematurely. I also scanned it for viruses (it was clean). In any case, it's better than paying Ford's exorbitant prices.
My car is a 2013 model, so the information needed to be updated. The dealer informed me that they would have to order the chip and that updating my system would cost $250. Fortunately, my service technician informed me that I could purchase the same chip on Amazon. I bought the chip on Amazon for around $40, removed the old one, and inserted the new one, and the navigation instantly updated. It was incredibly simple, and I was able to save a significant amount of money as a result.
