I own two Atoto A6 models, the first being the A6 Premium, which I purchased in December 2017. I was so taken with the features and speed of this unit that I bought the A6 Pro model (with Gesture control) to give to my wife as a bonus for her car. The Chinese Android Head Units are all pretty good in my opinion, but the Atoto has a few features that make it stand out. 1. br>br> The ability to mute the microphone while on a call - This is significant for me because I frequently take conference calls on my way to work and cannot have the background noise of the drive. This feature is not available in other units such as Pumpkin, Joying, or EinCar. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Google Voice or other voice assistants have their own steering wheel key. I was able to program my "Phone-Phone-Phone-Phone-Phone-Phone To start a voice search, press the "Answer" steering wheel key. Saiy is my go-to app because it can search for music, launch Waze navigation, and dial a contact from the head unit. This eliminates the need for me to return to my home screen or apps list while driving and press the Voice Search icon, which is dangerous. This functionality is not available on any of the other Android head units I've owned or researched. br>br>On both units, the sound quality is excellent. My car has a factory amplifier, and I was able to eliminate all interference, buzzing, and alternator whine with the help of a $25 Pac Line Out Converter, which is common when installing an aftermarket head unit. My wife's car, on the other hand, lacks a factory amplifier, and this unit sounds much better through her stock speakers than mine; it also has a standalone subwoofer control, allowing me to turn off my subs when my kids want to nap in the back seat. br>br>The Fastboot is a one-of-a-kind application. Every time I start my car, there is no discernible delay. I also use Tasker on my phone to activate my hotspot whenever my phone connects to the Atoto via WiFi, allowing me to use Spotify, Waze, Saiy, and Outlook on my head unit at all times. For those bright mornings, the screen is crystal clear and bright. In the case of the Pumpkin 4, I can't say the same. 4 This is the fourth unit I've owned. You can adjust the brightness manually, with your headlights, or based on the time of day. I use the headlight option, which works perfectly with the automatic headlights in my car. Those who have read previous reviews and are concerned about the radio app starting automatically every time you start your car will be relieved to know that this issue has been resolved with the latest Firmware update for all A6 models. Also, customer service is extremely responsive; all you have to do is account for the time zone difference. I always get a response within 12 hours, and the responses are thorough enough to help me figure out what went wrong. br>br>The only drawback I've noticed with this unit versus other Android HU's is that it's difficult to root. This did not deter me because I have no desire to root the device, but it may be an issue for others. It's not impossible, according to what I've read on forums, but this device is built differently and has a smaller user base than some of the more popular Andoid HU's. You can, however, install and use other Launchers. I installed Car Launcher Pro, which is a crisper and more "OEM" looking launcher than the standard Android Tablet launcher. br>br>To sum it up, I would strongly recommend this head unit to anyone looking for an aftermarket stereo of any kind. There are a lot of options out there, some much more expensive than this, such as Pioneer or Kenwood, and some less expensive without Android functionality, but I believe this is a very solid and impressive infotainment system, and for around $300, it is a great value.

This one outperforms them all. I'm not sure where to begin, but the radio will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with the use of a separate adapter. That is something I would also suggest. A backup camera is also available. Front camera with DVR capabilities will be implemented! There are three sets of pre-amp outputs! The sound quality with the built-in amplifier is quite impressive, and the radio runs on Android, so you can download any app from the app store and run it on it! With an external microphone, this is a fantastic Bluetooth device! Gesture controls are cool, but I would only recommend them if you aren't planning on using the steering wheel controls. In my opinion, the gesture sensor is unnecessary if you use steering wheel controls. With the addition of a bluetooth OBDII module, you can run torque! You can change the color of the buttons to match the colors of the dash! The touch screen is very responsive and looks great; it also comes with two screen protectors. They have great customer service, and we talked about the radio before we bought it. Even though I was not yet a customer, they patiently answered all of my questions and went out of their way to assist me in any way they could. Unlike other android radios, the radio starts playing as soon as the car is started. I was hesitant to buy this radio at first, but I'm glad I did. It's a game changer, and I'm going to get two more for my other vehicles. This thing kills the pioneer when it replaces a pioneer app radio. One of the best car radio tuners I've ever had. There are a lot of radio stations that this device can pick up. I'm sure I missed something in my review, but this radio is fantastic, and I have no regrets about buying it!.

It takes some setup and tweaking to get it just right, but the effort is well worth it! I replaced an Alpine IDA X200 media player with this unit, and it has nearly the same audio quality as the Alpine, though the Alpine's power was slightly higher. Except for the sub woofer, the audio customization is quite good. Apart from the A6 Pro, the Alpine excels only in this area. The only area where I'm having problems is with WiFi connectivity. It'll connect eventually, but it'll be a long time. It took several minutes to establish a strong WiFi connection. It's great once it's connected. br>br>It took me about 2 or 3 hours to install this in my truck (08 DBL cab Tacoma), but your mileage may vary. Do yourself a favor and research your vehicle first, then get the proper wiring harnesses; it will save you a lot of time and money. If you're not sure what harnesses you need, send an email to ATOTO and they'll either tell you or make it for you. They have fantastic customer service! Emails have been responded to in less than 24 hours, which is incredible considering their time zone is the polar opposite of ours. br>br>Overall, I'm very impressed with this unit and ATOTO's customer service.
