The location of the vehicle is almost never accurate. Also, the app isn't very useful. It might work better if you're always seated at a computer, but in the real world, it's not very useful. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever The app does not work when it comes to sending an SMS to report a specific activity. The app doesn't even have a selection option. No activation code is sent to even set up the device. I paid $150 to have the hardwired version installed by a shop. Due to a lack of support, an undeveloped app, and a complete lack of reporting, even when it tries to update, this was a complete waste of money. I got this for my husband because he rents out his car online and uses it to catch people who don't return the car or who are simply riding around when they should be heading to the drop-off location. He can turn it off with his phone, but the vehicle will not be disabled until they do so. The GPS is accurate, but after 250 stops, you won't be able to see anything. If you want to see more, I'm not sure if you need to upgrade it. IT IS EXCELLENT FOR THE MONEY AND DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO.

I haven't attempted to put the unit together yet. The instructions are very basic, with no mounting diagrams and a poor level of detail. The unit itself appears to be in good condition, but there is no way to know for sure if it is hardwired in. It's possible that I'll take it and have it installed by a professional.

) For Dad's chopper, I bought this for Christmas. He was able to put it in place, and it is not easily visible. It is something he adores. He hasn't hooked it up for the kill switch mode yet, but once he does, I'm guessing it will show if the bike has been moved. This was an important feature for me because there are a lot of tourists here who don't pay attention and would easily knock a bike down in a parking mishap and flee. Biker's delight! The satellite is also a cool feature because it displays the exact location of your bike at all times.

I'm not sure why people are giving it such a low rating; it functions flawlessly, and the customer service team is extremely responsive and helpful. 100 accurate and you can monitor your vehicle from the tips of your finger on a cell phone or a desktop.

I bought spy spot so that I could keep an eye on my car while it was being used by my daughter. My Android phone app lets me activate and deactivate the kill switch. Audio Express installed it for me, and they did an excellent job. Everything works exactly as it should, and I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Once hard wired, it's a great way to control the starter mother. Not as good as other tracking devices; it takes longer to pick up real-time locations, and the graphics aren't as appealing. It did the job I needed it to do in terms of restricting a teenager's access to her car.
