They continue to sell it because it is adaptable to different countries. You are correct, however, that 3G is being "sunset" or turned off in the United States. AT& T is scheduled to close in 2022. Verizon had planned to launch the service by the end of 2020, but they have put it on hold. However, they are not allowing new 3G device activation. There are currently 4G capable trackers available, so no product relying on 3G, no matter how good, can be recommended in the United States.

My location detector was put to the test, and it currently shows my bike to be 13 blocks away from its actual location. If I ever had to recover, it would be completely useless. Remove yourself from the situation. I have yet to come across a tracker that is actually useful. None appear to be ready for the market. We'll have to wait until these companies can duplicate what cell phone companies have been doing for more than a decade.
I'm a big fan of what you've done so far. By leaving the fob at home, I was able to test it. I then got in my car and drove away. My phone began to receive notifications in less than a minute. When I returned to the motorcycle with the fob, it was immediately turned off. The fob must not be left on or in the vehicle for this to work. So, what makes you think I'd want something like this? A robbery attempt was made against me. It was thwarted because my coworkers were on the lookout, and the jerk who tried to steal it damaged the ignition. I am insured and have filed a vandalism claim. My $200 deductible has been deducted from my account. br>Following that incident, I stated that I would do everything in my power to protect my property. br>A disc lock with an audible alarm has also been added. I'm now double-protected and would recommend this pair to anyone who values their vehicle and lives in a moderate to high-risk area.
Simply check to see if your area has adequate 3G coverage. br>Monthly rates are low, and the unit is small enough to fit into a small bike like our Grom.
simple to put together It's been tried and it works perfectly.
br>br>The phone network is not being used by the device. br>br>Their customer service is slow, with long periods of time between messages. I still can't get it to work. br>br>It's still not working.
Someone even suggested that you undo your seat and put it in the foam and re-install it; however, the tube you hide in your bike is actually quite large for something you need to hide, and when you do hide it, make sure it is not under steel, according to what I understand. Seal the vinyl or leather, but keep in mind that this is a big item, so you might end up with a lump under your buttocks. br>And what about the show? Well, I suppose I'll have to wait until it's needed, or perhaps I'll have to experiment with it to see how well it works.
I had it set up and installed in the motorcycle in about 30 minutes. I was able to test the bike without the key fob to make sure it worked, and I'm happy to report that it performed exactly as advertised. It's unusual for me to give a product a true 5/5 rating, but this one deserves it. I honestly can't think of a way to make the setup process any easier, and the app is very user-friendly and offers a variety of tracking options. If you're worried about motorcycle theft, this is by far the best option.
Setup is simple. In less than 5 minutes, I had the device configured using the mobile app. It takes a while for the SIM to show up in the app as active. It is difficult to remove the SIM card, but this is not a problem if you do not have your own provider. The serial number for setup is on the outside of the box, so don't waste time looking for it inside the device; the zip ties provided are adequate, but I used my own due to placement. Because the key fob will take up a lot of room in your wallet or pocket when you're riding the bike, consider where you'll keep it.
